RedBanner
.... WIDTH?..... 195 50s stretch on a 7" wheel pretty good, if you can hit it with alot of psi real quick. Looks realy dumb tho, they look ok on a 6"er Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
.... WIDTH?..... 195 50s stretch on a 7" wheel pretty good, if you can hit it with alot of psi real quick. Looks realy dumb tho, they look ok on a 6"er and 175's will fit too. It depends on how thick the sidewall is. I have seen a 175 that looked less stretched than a 195. Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
But this is what you want. http://www.tyrestretch.com/ Quote Link to comment
RedBanner
Holy shat they say that you can go with a 135 30 on my 8" wheels , it was hard for me to putt 195 50 on em at home, I ratchet strapped it and putt alot of air thru the bead before they hooked, it was ruff. I love the look of the 215 50 on 13x8s Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
You are doing it wrong. You need sudden explosion, kinda like how the 4x4ers remount their tires. Shops seems to use an old propane tank with a release valve. Fill it to about 90psi and let her rip into the gap of the tire and rim. For the DIYer though... Quote Link to comment
DISLEXICDIME
i would run 195 60 14 that's whit i ran on my old 4 door here are 195 60 14 on 6.5 wide wheels in this pic. Quote Link to comment
INDY510
. 14x7 +5 rear ......... 205/60/14 Same 14x7 +5 ...... . . 195/45/14 Toyo T1R ..... . . something in-between the 2 tires would look best IMO .. . these toyo's look stupid small on the back: Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
Indy the 205s balloon too much to me. The 195's need more sidewall probably a 50 series would be good. Quote Link to comment
DISLEXICDIME
i dont think any one makes a 50 series 14 any more at least they didnt last time i checked and that was 4 years a go Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
well that is another problem... My car is running 185/60/14 on zx 6 spokes. A 55 would look better, but its no balloon. Looks like this: Quote Link to comment

That site needs to be organized. they don't do normal. They do stretch. And it is organized by wheel width then tire width tire profile rim diameter. They also only add what people send in I believe. nismo dr
I'm pretty sure modifing a old propane tank would violate more OSHA laws than I count Quote Link to comment

But ok it is a real device. Quote Link to comment
