I'm just going off of what is engraved in the front of the cam. It reads "Cal Cams .510" That's all I know. Quote Link to comment
EricJB Posted February 28, 2012 Report Share Posted February 28, 2012 Smallblock Ford keepers will raise the retainer a bit, and give you a little more room for lift. I tried .490 lift with stock springs many years ago, ( I was broke) and never got anywhere near 7200 rpm without floating. More like 5500 to 6000. I dont think stock springs are meant to control that much lift. Quote Link to comment
