1985 300zx parts car for my 210

so ive got a friend of mine that has a 1985 300zx that he wrecked and selling for cheap and the motor is still good, so here are some questions

 

-is it worth it to put the vg30 in my 210

 

-is it a bitch to put in

 

-can i use the diff

 

-has anyone seen it done

 

-and if yes pics?

What is your level of fabrication and wiring experience......you could put a pratt and whitney bomber engine in there if you wanted to

 

See above, substitute pratt and whitney for peterbilt

 

Oics or it didnt happen.

It is an advanced swap.

 

The VG30 fits in the smaller B110 (several guys have completed the swap), so it wil fit in the B310 which is about 2" wider:

The 300ZX rear axle assembly is too wide, the 510 and 610 units are too narrow. Maybe the 280ZX would be best. But several guys have swapped S14 rears, so it is definitely possible. They fabricate new suspension arms and shorten the driveshafts. Plus modify the chassis and the suspension mount points.
