zed1
I recently had new floor pans installed on the driver & passenger foot wells of my 520. The original pans were corroded very badly. I now need to drill the drain holes. Does anyone have the measurements for the position of the holes? (I want to replicate the original pans as closely as possible.) Thanks, Keith Quote Link to comment
wayno
These are photos of my 66 520, the arrows point to the two holes. If you need more let me know. Quote Link to comment
wayno
The measuements going from the side to the tunnel are with the tape pinned against the metal sill below the door, and the tape end was placed where the metal folds upwards towards the seat mount for the forward/back measurement. Sitting in the seat, right hole, 5" forward from the bend upwards towards the seat. Sitting in the seat, left hole 7" forward from the bend ect. Sitting in the seat, left hole, 8" from sill below the door towards the right. Sitting in the seat, 17" from the sill below the door towards the right. Sitting in the seat from the sill below the door to the right. Same as the first photo. Quote Link to comment

dat521gatherer
This explains why when I bought plugs from nissanparts.cc they were way smaller than the ones for my 521. now maybe I can sell them knowing what they are. Quote Link to comment
zed1
OK, I have the location of the holes marked. Now I need to know the size of the 520 holes? Thanks, Keith Quote Link to comment
wayno
The holes in my 66 datsun 520 are 3/8" across/hole Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
My 66 520 has the larger holes also and the rubber plugs for the large holes were still available from Nissan last summer. The part # is 74942-04100. If this number is different then the number of the small rubber plugs then it is correct for the large rubber plugs. I am in Nevada and my receipts are in Arizona.
