jrdat
I have a 620kc. I have installed a sr20det and firewall and dash with wireing harness from 180sx half cut from japan. I am working on headlights now.So the only part 620 is the lights themselves. The plugs for the 180 headlights have 5or6 wires. Only one of them has power when lights are on and doesnt change when highbeams are on. Anybody dealt with this before? Quote Link to comment
DanielC
If it was mine, I would keep all the 620KC electrical, except for the engine. Use the 180 SX wiring for the starting, ignition, and charging system only. Quote Link to comment

zerow
Only one of them has power when lights are on and doesnt change when highbeams are on. Anybody dealt with this before? How much power? Less than 12 volts? Probably the Daytime Running Light circuit. Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
Isnt the 180sx a one bulb housing????????? Datsuns use mostly a switachble ground. on 510 I know the inner lights will be wired to the Battery(12v) but then gets a ground when switched to High beam. The relay moves to a 2 wire ground then. The outer lamp will be the same thing but use the 2nd element on the bulb Quote Link to comment
