SHADY280
ive never had the correct size battery for my truck (i got either too big or too small) because it came with one from another car. so what is the largest nice fitting battery can we fit in our 620 rigs. the stocker is probably super small and cant hold much reserve or cca's. wahts everyone else got? Bleach
I just bought the standard size battery for a car. I didn't think battery size was such an issue. You can get several different amp ratings with the same physical size. for a 620 always get those plastic terminal covers though... just to prevent the hood from shorting out on the positive terminal. You could probably use a size terminal battery as long as your cables reach. (or buy new cables and make them reach) Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
Bleach writes get those plastic terminal covers though... just to prevent the hood from shorting out on the positive terminal just put the positive closer to the starter side. so the hood doesnt angle down on it ( since most Datsun owners use a BUNGY cord it doest slide up under the hood and short out.) ]2eDeYe
Optima, Odyssey or any other gel cell, orbital style battery. They won't leak and rust away your battery tray. Quote Link to comment
