fuzz's '71 510
Next up is to strip the engine bay clean and determine which holes stay and which ones go & mount the motor to the stand and tear it down for further inspection. Can anybody tell me what the casters at the front of this ^^^^ car are called or where to get them? I was told you can get them at harbor freight and weld them on an old crossmember. I asked the same question before and the 510keeper told me about this trick, it does work rather well. Fuzz Quote Link to comment

The wiring harness is almost completely removed seats are out gas tank is out headliner is out door panels are out exhaust is off this was all that was holding the exhaust up after it went thru the rear crossmember It was a piece of a fan belt cut up and held together by a hose clamp This is the left overs from a mouse nest i found between the headliner and the roof there was all over, and i was not expecteing all of that to fall on me when i took down the headliner and then there was this: Has to be like 2 pounds of this shit ^^ in each of the rear doors something tells me that this door ^^ isnt original to this car Quote Link to comment

ptown green
This is so cool man! I'm really glad that worked out for you. I'm gonna have him come put my glass back in when its time. He had really good prices with seals included for my gf's 240. Did you ask him about any of that. I'm gonna call him, just curious on the price in case you asked Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
I didn't talk to him about much other than what he was doing. He only charged $50 to take out the windows and I know he had to drive home in traffic so I thought that was a good price. He's a cool dude and I plan on calling him to show me how to put em back in too. Quote Link to comment
