SoCaLKiDz
I know this might sound stupid but.... Yesterday i got my truck back from the shop and it was 600 hundred dollars for them to hook up the dam vacuum lines. I have a brand new clutch master and slave. I put them in and bled the clutch. Now this is where it gets wired. I had some pressure where the push rod was pushing the clutch fork. But i could push the rod back in while the pedal was pushed down. So i went and got another slave. Now i got another one and put it in now nothing went threw about a bottle of fluid and still nothing... What am i doing wrong? New master? Another new slave? Help? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
You really should invest is a good Nissan manual instead of spending $600 on some hoses. Mechanics will see you coming if you don't know what's going on with your vehicle. First check your peddle 'free play'. Push down on the clutch peddle with your thumb. It should move with little resistance for about 2mm or 1/16" before any firmness is felt. Make sure the master is full and stays full during the bleeding. Pump the clutch several times and hold down. Have someone open the bleeder on the slave. Air and fluid may come out. Close the bleeder. Lift the peddle and pump twice and hold. Open bleeder and let fluid and or air out and close again. Check master level. Continue until no more air is expelled and close bleeder. Question ... where did you get the master and the slave??? Quote Link to comment
SoCaLKiDz
NIssan itself. But i got it to work had to let the slave dangle and pump the clutch for the fluid to push the rod out and have enough pressure to push the fork. And i tried tellling my dad i can do it and he was like just send it off... Quote Link to comment
