datzenmike Posted March 28, 2011 Report Share Posted March 28, 2011 Flywheels aren't really specific to the engine size and will interchange. You have a choice of 3 sizes but the most common are the 200mm for cars and the 225mm for trucks. The famous Roadster clutch is 200mm and very heavy duty (stiff) the truck (225mm) is a good 2nd best. d510addict Posted March 28, 2011 Author Report Share Posted March 28, 2011 Is it a truck flywheel? The only thing is I need to weigh the work to drop a motor in a J/Y Versus purchasing a flywheel. J/Y price is 19 and I'm sure I could find a few motors close to dropping/ones with no tranny, They aren't garunteed to need resurfacing either. Let me see if I can pull one this weekend if I cannot and cost to resurface is low enough I will hit you up Jester. Link to comment
izzo Posted March 28, 2011 Report Share Posted March 28, 2011 I got one too, for that L20 you got from me. I forgot I had it. its in my house on the floor. I started cleaning up the surface, just a little more time with some 220 grit and itll be good as new. (no, i didn't go nuts and make a bunch of low spots. It was just a little surface rust... Its a 225mm truck flywheel. I wont undersell Jester, tho. Link to comment
