Shagy
I was looking around in my 69 and noticed that the column has the notch for the lock. I have NO ignition for this car. From what Ive seen the 69's ignition was not on the column like the 70-73's. Could this be a late 69 that took the 70+ ignition switch? I'm hoping so, cause I then have the cover for the column. If I need pictures they will have to wait till tomorrow. Quote Link to comment
Jesse C.
My old '69 had the cutout for the lock also, but, it had the old shcol ign. switch with no lock and it was a late 69 car. Quote Link to comment
Shagy
Jesse, can you shot me a couple pictures... Anyone else, think the 70+ stuff will work? IE bolt up? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
That's common. My '78 truck had the hole in the column but the ignition switch did not lock. Later 620 may have ? The 720 did. Some early cars had the shoulder belt mount holes already in place on the C? pillar even though they only had lap belts. Quote Link to comment
Shagy
So if I purchase a 70 lock cyl....it should bolt up? Think my covers will fit. Quote Link to comment
Jesse C.
No pics, sorry. I sold that car back in '97! Quote Link to comment
