jesusno2
does anyone on know if you can flip a right hand tie rod to the left hand side and or vise versa? rock auto has a killer deal on right hand tie rods but no lefts? my guess is you cant since they are non adjustable. I actually might of answered my own question ;) Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
The new ones I've bought through rockauto were adjustable. Might be able to swap side to side. Quote Link to comment
jesusno2
Really the ones i was looking at were like the stock ones. I would post a link but im to retarded. I think this link will show a picture http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=2131388 Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
Interesting. I bought the moog ones, they are adjustable. You could measure the ones on your truck and see if they are close. Quote Link to comment
jesusno2
I'm only seeing the left being adjustable? I looked on the moog websight maybe they vary from the photo I dunno. It would be a little odd having one side adjustable ha ha Quote Link to comment
yello620
MOOG makes them both ways. The stock style and the adjustable style, and they do make adjustable for both sides. Actually it might be the same once it is adjustable. Quote Link to comment
jesusno2
The moog sight says 2weeks for delivery. Any one got a set of used decent tie rods? this is for a customers truck and he is riding a damn motorcycle at the moment. So it needs to be back on the road ASAP. Quote Link to comment
villegs
If it list's left and right usually means one is reverse threaded, but that's not always the case. BTW, I sell Moog and most of the 620 stuff is slated for NLA. I have unending backorder on the idler arm Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The 620s are not adjustable because the cross rod in the middle is used to adjust toe. Adjusting just one side will work but but it will make one side tie rod longer or shorter and this will affect the bump steer. They are L&R and have different numbers. If a killer deal buy a couple and see if the work on both sides. Quote Link to comment
jesusno2
Well In case anyone following this, They will not swap left to right the angles are different. I figured that was the case. Only option if ya cant get them new is buy 720 adjustables and shorten them 1.5 on each side. or build your own' which i will do next time when not in a time crunch.
