Brian D
So I post a WTB add on craigslist for a J 1300 and got a phone call from a guy that said he had a engine, but it was a J 1500 not a 1300. I was excited, then he continued to tell me that it has 20k on a rebuild. I drove down today to pick it up and came home with a car full of parts. All are for a J engine. I got, J1500, 2 complete heads, two intakes and manis one w/ carb, two good 4 speed trannys, a guage cluster, lights fan wiper switchs, front hubs, 4 cams and a ton of other stuff. The price was right. I will post pics in a few. Quote Link to comment
zed1
Sounds like a good find. Did the J15 have the carb attached? (I have read that the Nikki that is on the J13 does not have the capacity to move enough air for the larger combustion chambers of the J15.) Can anyone verify this? Keith Quote Link to comment
Brian D
The J 15 is 100% complete Quote Link to comment

Brian D
I will do that. After I get the engine in I will sort through the parts and figure out what I need. I will keep you in mind. Quote Link to comment
zed1
Interesting vent on the exhaust manifold! Does this vent to the air cleaner housing? Please keep me in mind when you decide to sell some of the excess parts. I have a project waiting in the wings. Keith Quote Link to comment
