Now I work at a restarunt in Star, and also in about a month i will be working at a green house here in Emmett so work 7 days a week prolly 60-70 hours a week. chester Posted January 10, 2011 Report Share Posted January 10, 2011 holy hell the 1000th post right on. i have a question for you farmer about when we put the weber on my truck. You remember the red riser we put on also, since it has been damn cold here would that cause it so the carb doesnt warm up enough and make the truck sputter. Just wondering if that could be the problem since it started doing the other day. I dont think it is the plugs, cap, rotor, or the wires since i just replaced them thursday. Quote Link to comment
Farmer Joe Posted January 10, 2011 Report Share Posted January 10, 2011 yeah if the carb is freezing up itll sometime just kill the truck... my pup used to do that when id drive to work during the winter. the only thin you could do is find shorter hardware for that adapter so that you can eliminate the phenolic heat spacer... use it during the summer...
