ptown green
I'm wondering if there's a difference in the core support from the 620 to the 510. Because i like the idea of using a volvo radiator in my 510, like this... http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c59/jester02/100_2473.jpg But I don't know if there's a difference. Maybe I'm not searching for the right stuff Quote Link to comment
qwik510
Thant radiator looks pretty tall. You will need to measure the radiator will fit. I doubt the 510 and the 620 have exactly the same size core support. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
They don't. The truck is taller for sure. If you look at an L20B truck, '75-'79, the rad support curves away from the motor for more room. I think the VW Rabbit and the Fiero rads will swap into the 510. http://dimequarterly.tierranet.com/articles/tech_rabbitrad.html http://dimequarterly.tierranet.com/articles/tech_radiator_guide.html . INDY510
. 15.5" is the tallest radiator that fits in a 510 when the hood is shut...... ;) 15.5" tall X 27" wide X 3" thick:........ and it took alot of cutting and hammering to get it to fit: Quote Link to comment
The Dat-side
FWIW I've got the Fiero. Looks like the PO had to trim some of the support to fit. Quote Link to comment
fisch
The PO ran a Fiero in mine too. He reused the 510 shroud. Quote Link to comment
