Found Rear coilovers.

i know all the questions people have with the rear coilovers. i found this set on craigslist for real cheap and looks like they fit the 510. i didnt have time to try them out but look good and have an adjuster to make the shocks stiffer.

look to be the same length as the shocks... problem is are the shocks the one off the 510??? was it lowered or stock height? because if those were stock height shocks and the coilovers are the same length and depending on the compressed length of them they might be fully compressed or close to fully compressed when installed and you try to lower it, just my .02 cents sorry

Looks like off of a honda. They also look LONGER to me. Not good for a lowered car. Hope it works though!

hey jose i think i made the coilovers they use the kyb shocks for adjustment and they will work on your 510 if any ? call me at 951 214-9555 i made the aluminum brackets for the rear.

so i tried them on today and they fit perfect. they kinda rubb alittle on the inside but thats ok i guess. i believe the springs are 600 lbs do you guys think that good enough??

do these show a part # on the shock. I bet they are the older 84-87 corolla gts shocks from KYB. those can fit a 510.

I would start to worry about the body/frame pulling apart at that kind of spring rate.... Get something about half that.

yea, from info I've been finding even 300lb is on the stiff side for a 510. I was going to run 200lb, but I found a set of coilovers myself on craigslist for $40 (front not rear) and I have no idea what the spring rate is, (haven't installed them yet) and I'm kinda worried about it...
