Cowl Induction 510 Hood from FutoFab

Yes that is right, FutoFab has a cowl induction hood for the 510! Recently we did up a PURE carbon fiber hood for a customer. This hood has fore and aft bracing that not only stiffens the hood panel but provides embedded aluminum plates to attach the stock hinges and latch with. Our CF hood weighs 10.5# compared to a stock steel hood that weighs 30#. That is 19.5# lighter.

That hood is $850.

 

The range for a FutoFab hood is $435 to $850 depending on material and features chosen.

The CF Hood is done in 100% CF. The pictures of the bracing are shown in gray gelcoat, which is typical of our Orange Line material construction. On a CF hood these are CF as well.
