Well it's almost time for tires but before that I need to know what to do about my 16" Chevy rims. Couple people told me to run spacers, 1 person told me 1/2" another told me 1/4". So you guys running Chevy/Caddy rims let me know what your using. They're going on my 75' 620, These are what the rims look like if it helps as always thanks in advance 0a3f_1.jpg

you bore them out from the back side. 1/2" deep like I did on my Titan wheels.

1/2 inch rabitting router bit is what you need. Your router will have either a 1/4 or 1/2 inch shank on it. Make sure the bit's shank matches that. Most are 1/2 inch. I had a router with a 1/4 inch shank and had to order the bit online. I went down 1/16th of an inch each time. (like the 2nd video shows)

I ordered a pair of 1/4" shims for my Chevy Suburban wheels. I figure I'll try one shim first then try the two together to see if it really NEEDS 1/2". If it does I'll buy a pair of 1/2's and put the 1/4's in the rear.
