LeDevil
Well it's almost time for tires but before that I need to know what to do about my 16" Chevy rims. Couple people told me to run spacers, 1 person told me 1/2" another told me 1/4". So you guys running Chevy/Caddy rims let me know what your using. They're going on my 75' 620, These are what the rims look like if it helps as always thanks in advance Quote Link to comment
Bleach
you bore them out from the back side. 1/2" deep like I did on my Titan wheels. 1/2 inch rabitting router bit is what you need. Your router will have either a 1/4 or 1/2 inch shank on it. Make sure the bit's shank matches that. Most are 1/2 inch. I had a router with a 1/4 inch shank and had to order the bit online. I went down 1/16th of an inch each time. (like the 2nd video shows) Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
....or 1/4" spacers.... I machined my hubs, that way I can run any wheels I want without spacers :D Quote Link to comment
Jester
I ordered a pair of 1/4" shims for my Chevy Suburban wheels. I figure I'll try one shim first then try the two together to see if it really NEEDS 1/2". If it does I'll buy a pair of 1/2's and put the 1/4's in the rear. Jester Quote Link to comment
