check with your insurance...i know in kentucky, a cracked windshield is replaced FREE OF CHARGE by your insurance company. won't make your premiums go up either. my rear glass in my s-10 got busted out in a robbery attempt and it was replaced free, no deductable or anything. so call around a bit and see what you find out

How bad is it. The officer can't really write you up for it if it doesn't impede vision (small cracks along the bottom, top, or sides)

I suppose the likelihood of getting cited for it all depends on how poorly you're driving, how many other violations the officer can find on the car, and how drunk you are. Not to mention your driving record.

^so true!!!

i drove an RX7 for a while w/ a cracked window and then no brake lights coming back to CA from arizona.

it was brown and the 3 accidents it was in, ALL the at-fault drivers said they didnt see it

once some F&^$%-head cop followed me for ~70 miles before he finally pulled me over....then lemme go w/ a warning...since i was leaving the state
