Howard Quizford
wow here we go .. well to the guys that think i flipped out .-.. go to hell .. for the others like banzai thank you very much .. i guess every forum has his loosers that just look at picks but dont know how to use a screw driver fact is the info that im given help me alot ... and yes in europe its hard to get your hands on parts for a a sky or any older car ... specially imports .. we have bmw's and that crap ... and new new new ... nothing old u get 3000 if u junk a ok old car to buy a new one ... so yeah ... store wise ..thats a no go .. thats what i am trying to change with my shop .. i live in ramstein so banzai knows where im at ... and i am trying to give the military guys (import cars) a way to get there parts and get the stuff they need ... (sky .. no prob with the pic but im not here for the sky .... it has enough power to keep farraris in the right lane .. ) the datsun should be there when im done with it i have a rb25 waiting in case i cant rebuild the engine that is in it now ... so thats what I call a build ... what u guys have to realize is the fact that every change i make on the car .. even the lugnuts have to be registered and without the right paperwork that is NOT possible therefore i wont beable to move the on the road .. and i own 2 track cars so no need for another ,,, again thank you guys for the links indy510 and banzai ... i will keep you guys updates on the build ones i get started Quote Link to comment

banzai510(hainz)
I did not know Jap cars were that popular in Germany. The ones I saw were always 2nd rate looking compared to German cars. Or maybe I got used to Jap cars here that made US cars look 2nd rate. Im sure you can getparts. But the key is to find a Datsun rich area. I know Greece had a few 510 imported. So I would assume the more pooer countries in Europe could still have a better listing . But Austrail will have more that enough parts if you want to pay for shipping and pay import. But Baz in Austrailia has links on his site to other part suppiers, Steward Wilkens or get a source for use. Very knowledgable people on there on the higher output L motors and swaps. http://www.ozdat.com/ Maddat is another source from Austriala But Yes I hated buying parts while in Germany Not very EZ and lot of TUV !!!inspections They really never like Rice Burners in Germany They liked the MB Gelandewagon but I would always say a FJ70 Land cruiser was a better rig. They would just laugh. Dont get me wrong German BMWs MBs and even the Opels are cool cars. But not me. 500hp out of aRB is EZ. I dont know anout a L 6??? That would be alot. But Bertvorgen on the 510 realm has gotton 240 to the ground with a L20b 4 cyl Quote Link to comment
Howard Quizford
yeah i am getting a lot of ppl excited with these cars .. but its more newer ones .. s14 s13 (200sx) sky's and scoobys a few are here that aren't that known .. like the sunny gtri and a z's but all together the scene is getting bigger (drifting ............) i organize meets and all the good stuff with the shop .. the pic of me and the sky shows a meet where we had a dynopull rented to make sure everyone knows there place in the group lol i will show yall a few pics off meets and a few cars ... its like fast and the furious in real life ;) so left to right .... my sky ... doms s14a... boostys r34gtr .. and a evo 8 at a club meet again the pick from the dyno meet ... the dyno meet ... organized by us .. 90 % jap cars racing sunday ... we do drive our cars and not just wash them and stair at them .. we go on the street and show what we have ,... even its its not 100 % leagel .. lol .. mor the oposite but we def. have fun with those things ... just a few ... to show we are here .. but like i said the datsun is so rare here its impossible to get parts in germany ... so i have to make it a awesome car and show what a datsun can do .. lol Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
If you know a Army guy manybe you can get use a APO adress and get parts shipped in that way. rockauto.com has rings . steward wilkens in Aussie can help out. go to OZdat website and find a weblink there. or wait till I get to work to send you a lnk as I might have it there. as I dont know dish vaolume on your pistons. but if its a 2400 I assume its a 83mm piston.. yeah I was going to ask if Subaru WRXs is popular there?????? I bet most never heard of them. PS I loved Germany!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote Link to comment
