I've always wanted a first gen Laurel coupe....... there is a guy on japanesenostalgic car building one with a SR20DET

First gen Laurels: 68-73 C30

2nd gen Laurels: 76-83 C31... with 3 different body styles,, but still C31s

3rd gen Laurels: 84-90 C32

Your model should be a C31 or a HC31....... C220?..... or C230?

It seems most C31s are not in North America... . .... maybe try japanesenostalgiccar.com for more info.....

wow here we go .. well to the guys that think i flipped out .-.. go to hell .. for the others like banzai thank you very much .. i guess every forum has his loosers that just look at picks but dont know how to use a screw driver

fact is the info that im given help me alot ... and yes in europe its hard to get your hands on parts for a a sky or any older car ... specially imports .. we have bmw's and that crap ...

and new new new ... nothing old u get 3000 if u junk a ok old car to buy a new one ...

so yeah ...

store wise ..thats a no go .. thats what i am trying to change with my shop .. i live in ramstein so banzai knows where im at ... and i am trying to give the military guys (import cars) a way to get there parts and get the stuff they need ...

(sky .. no prob with the pic but im not here for the sky .... it has enough power to keep farraris in the right lane .. )

the datsun should be there when im done with it i have a rb25 waiting in case i cant rebuild the engine that is in it now ...

so thats what I call a build ...

what u guys have to realize is the fact that every change i make on the car .. even the lugnuts have to be registered and without the right paperwork that is NOT possible therefore i wont beable to move the on the road .. and i own 2 track cars so no need for another ,,,

again thank you guys for the links indy510 and banzai ... i will keep you guys updates on the build ones i get started

I did not know Jap cars were that popular in Germany.

The ones I saw were always 2nd rate looking compared to German cars. Or maybe I got used to Jap cars here that made US cars look 2nd rate.

Im sure you can getparts. But the key is to find a Datsun rich area.

I know Greece had a few 510 imported. So I would assume the more pooer countries in Europe could still have a better listing .

But Austrail will have more that enough parts if you want to pay for shipping and pay import.

But Baz in Austrailia has links on his site to other part suppiers, Steward Wilkens or get a source for use.

Very knowledgable people on there on the higher output L motors and swaps.

http://www.ozdat.com/

Maddat is another source from Austriala

But Yes I hated buying parts while in Germany Not very EZ and lot of TUV !!!inspections

They really never like Rice Burners in Germany

They liked the MB Gelandewagon but I would always say a FJ70 Land cruiser was a better rig. They would just laugh.

Dont get me wrong German BMWs MBs and even the Opels are cool cars. But not me.

500hp out of aRB is EZ. I dont know anout a L 6??? That would be alot. But Bertvorgen on the 510 realm has gotton 240 to the ground with a L20b 4 cyl
