Oil Squirter on front of block... removable?? (mine is F**ked)

looks like the chain cut into the oil squirter. I dont know the history of this motor- was a junkyard find.

 

what i need to know is; is this squirter removable? I'd like to know one way or another before I start wrenching on it too hard.

 

I've got a spare block that I could yank one from, but I'd appreciate input first!

That cool man. Leave it alone. You can run them like that I heard. Mine dont have one....

chain oiler yes it can be removed with vise grips

i had one that looked like that... broke the first time i pulled on it :angry:

Lucky to find one intact still, most have been sheared off and plugged with brass. I've only found a few motors that still have it. Think the race motor block had a good one. Slightly bent if I remember, but not chain eaten.
