Im hoping to find a power steering box to put onto this truck , hopefully something that fits the pitmen arm. or can use the new steering parts i bought :cool: Quote Link to comment

datzenmike Posted March 17, 2010 Report Share Posted March 17, 2010 The 620 steering box has the sector shaft on the inside of the frame rail beside the motor. All 720 boxes are on the outside so these won't work on it. Well they might if you swap all steering linkage parts and idler. Never thought of that. I used a 280zx (non R&P) box and rotated the pitman 180 so it faced to the rear like the 620. Pitman arm from the 620 fit right on. Had to mod the mounting but it worked just fine.
