620 Automatic Conversion

I am looking for a OEM automatic shifter assembly and brake petal as I am converting from stick to auto. A clutch M/C delete plate would be nice too. If anyone has these parts let me know. Thanks Al

I have the brake pedal. The delete plate around here somewhere to ill have to look in the daylight.

 

Do you need the black thing that bolts to the tranny tunnel and you mount the shifter to?

Do not forget to install the spacer between the flex plate and the crank end.

Please post a list of all the parts you need to complete this project. I will look through my parts. I might have spacer & shifter. Used flex plate & bolts. Maybe the steel plate that goes between the block & trans these are different than the standard transmission ones.

Thanks everyone for your help. Actually I am converting the complete engine and automatic transmission from a 240SX (KA24DE Fuel Injected Engine). My thoughts were to just use the OEM auto shift assembly/petal and modify it to work the linkage of the KA transmission.

You need just the automatic shifter assembly that bolts to the floor? I may have an extra. I will be checking for it late in the week. You're in Rancho Cucamonga I see. May be able to deliver to you if interested...

I noticed that you list several vehicles in your list. what vehicle are you converting? truck parts are diferent from car and z car is different from 240sx and 510. I have a shifter for a z car.

Maybe the steel plate that goes between the block & trans these are different than the standard transmission ones.

 

From what I've seen the auto ones are two piece. The bottom half is removable so you can loosen the torque converter bolts. Here are an L and a Z series from a standard tranny. One piece.

Mike is correct. the autotrans uses a 2 piece plate.

yes........... yes they are. Wear them every day and are 6?months old now and doing just fine. That's about 1250 bicycle miles plus any walking. :D
