I started to work on the 76 today and found that the bed is worse then the 73 iI dont know what im going to do now I need a bed aney one on the east coast have one for sale?

I got the bed off today and there was so much rust that I had to cut the fram of the bed to get it off. but this frame looks better then the 73.So im going to use the 76 frame all I need is a bed lol very hard to find. I will post pics tomarrow it's to dark

Ok I got another 73 620 from S carolina $200 the bed in good shape now I have 3 trucks that should be all the parts I need

Ive got a lot done this past week. I started to sand the frame down thats a lot of work. I got the engine out,

I got some more sanded on the frame and I took out the axle, break lines and front breaks. I think im going to go to disk breaks any ideas?

Ok I was wondering is there a reason you paint as you sand? Wouldn't it be easier to wait tell you were done sanding too paint? Or is it that your worried about it rusting as you sand?

 

I know it sounds as though I am questioning your way of doing things, however; I am not I am asking so I know the best way too do things later on.

I ran out of primer and I just wanted to see what it was going to look like and yes I don't want it to rust anymore

I found the bushing at advance auto parts made by moog part # k9209 and k9174

well I got the frame finished so I rolled it out and started on the cab

Wow! I was checking out your pictures. I've done restoration work before, and it's a lot of work. Looks like you're doing a great job. Just stay focused and don't let anything de-rail you. Before you know it you'll be finished. Good luck!

started to work on the inside floor of the cab and I got some rust holes there to work on
