banzai510(hainz) Posted November 14, 2007 Report Share Posted November 14, 2007 on the old transmissions its the stick shift inbetween the ears that widen. they need to be shimmed with washers or the ears squeezed to remove the slop. Youll know right off if those bushings are bad or not. I have never seen one go bad The later Z car and 200sx 5 sppeds use the plastic cup that the ball fits in to. Some one Posted that the Chrysler door bushing HELP part# 38377 will work. HELP brand is a cheap accesory company that makes bolts and little hardware.
