DanielC Posted January 21, 2010 Report Share Posted January 21, 2010 I think your best option would be to start looking in junk yards for one, and be prepared to cut the part you need out of a car there. Cut the metal on the core support, leaving the center piece attached. Then get a spot weld saw, and at home, remove the pieces you do not need. Is your piece so badly damages it cannot be straightened? Could you fab a piece out of some sheet metal? Link to comment
jun Posted January 21, 2010 Author Report Share Posted January 21, 2010 The center grille support is a bolt-on affair with 2 bolts. Mine is creased, it's already bent back to where it "should" be but it will fail if I bend it any more. I may have to reweld the creased area, using my friend's part as a guide. Would be nice if someone out there had a spare in the parts box they're willing to part with :D Link to comment
