Need some help with some ideas for my 510

I have driven a 510 with a stock L16 and it got great gas milage.....but it was slow

 

My 510 now has a L18 with a isky cam and dual 44mm mikunis.... and it is a lot faster

 

But my 710 goon with a KA24DE is probably the most fun,,, and it has gobs of torque...

 

I think you could spend thousands on building a L-series.... and it still would never have the smooth power of a fuel injected KA24DE

So am I pretty much stuck with getting a KA out of a truck ? Didn't someone say that the truck KA wasn't as good?

you can get a ka out of a 240sx you just wont find a jdm s13 ka motor cause it didnt exist in japan america was the only place that got the ka in the 240 sx

I always suggest getting the 240sx motor. Parts will be easier to get and cheaper (used parts, I mean) because the motors are basically given away when the drifters swap in a SR20.
