I wanna hear it run too!!!

 

I had help lined up for today but he bailed so I was forced to work on things to keep me busy...

 

Deleted a bunch of unneeded wiring from the engine bay

Painted the metal housing that the washer fluid mounts to

And got the Altima alt ready to put in, just had to swap pulleys, shorten the spacer and tag the nut in place

To Do Before Canby:

find a Thermostat housing plug for the vaccumm thingy... 

Su's cleaned

drop off Exhaust mani to get bead blasted and surfaced

Exhaust painted and put on

Trans plate cleaned and painted

Fuel pump nuts

Alternator upgrade

Clean the fan

adjust the Valves

replace Heater core hose

Re torque bolts (all of them)

Paint oil dip stick

Paint heater core fitting on cylinder head

Install thermostat

Clean and Install dizzy

stall the motor 

plum and wire engine bay

clean/degrease engine bay

Buff and wax

Carpet

Plate for passenger floor

install the SU's 

Hub caps - clean and paint

Stereo install

new front Brakes

I only had to build one piece for my whole manual swap. Just a bracket for the clutch peddle spring. Took 3 minutes.

For your record I used.

A 610 trans crossmember,

Long tail trans.

510 peddles.

Hard line from a 610, there are 2 styles for the 710, pre76 ones are identical to the 610 ones, later ones hug the brake lines and look alot cleaner than the early ones wich snake alover and under the throttle.

I have one of each lines you could mimmick when the time comes.

Was one coolant line away from firing it up last night...... This motor has an A87, the carbs were on a u67. Had to find a fitting and then couldn't find the right line in the garage.

 

Just got up, like still in bed.....

 

Gunna round up parts and BBQ supplies and get to it!!
