kiznook
I saw your ads on CL, glad you decided to keep the datto. VERY clean truck. Your work is seriously impresive. I think is time for a wild datsun project :D Quote Link to comment
73super
I'd rather find a '78 - '79 Ext cab w/ auto and restore it to original. :D Do they reproduce any of the original stripes/decals? Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
You can get the Lil' Hustler stripes in vinyl...I've cut a few sets back in the day... Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Here are some of my little projects; http://www.hotrodders.com/forum/journal.php?journalid=33804&action=view My dad's first car was a '51 that looks just like yours but for the back end. Go easy on the old six, they didn't have oil pumps in them. Like the 620 but I think the fender badges aren't the right ones. First I've seen with a chrome grill... looks great with that bright yellow, not sure about other colors. Quote Link to comment
73super
The '49 has an updated 235 full flow oil system in it. That's why so many changed over from the 216 to the 235. Yes, I agree the chrome works with the yellow, but may not with another paint color. The next truck I do will have stock everything. Because I know how much all the guys on this website appreciate the stock look.. Ha! Quote Link to comment
