NSRz32
What's the currently produced Nissan oil filter that fits the L16? I need to do an oil change on my 521 and prefer to use a Nissan filter. The original part number doesn't come up in my FAST system at the dealership. Thanks in advance :) Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I use the 305 Chev, 318 Dodge or the Ford 4.9 liter inline six filter, whichever is cheapest. I can't find a pt # either. Quote Link to comment
NSRz32
Well the original part number for the L16 for the 521 was 15208 65010 but that didn't come up as a valid part number for me. Guess I'll have the parts guy call Nissan tomorrow :) Quote Link to comment

oldsklminitrk
I use Napa Gold filers Yeah Napa gold are made by Wix and Ive been to a few of there training seminars and I have certificates for schooling on filters....I gotta say OEM is good but if all else fails go with a wix...please stay away from Fram.....Those things are put together so cheaply, half the time they dont filter your oil they have a bypass valve in them that opens up and sticks and just lets your oil go unfiltered....and there made of some cheap paper.... Either way you found a OEM one.I just thought Id add my two cents. Quote Link to comment
