BACARDI_DWB
I found out today I Aced my Navy advancement exam and I am not Promoted to E-6!! This is the 5th time I have taken the test, every time before I passed but didn't quite make the cutoff. This time though, I blew the cutoff away! Now I have a job that can fund my hobby haha. :D Quote Link to comment

slodat
Congrats. I was an EM1(SS) when I retired at 11 years. The Navy advancement system is just old and dumb. Needs to be changed. Quote Link to comment
BACARDI_DWB
Actually I didn't make it at first, I missed the test by 0.21 but my command was awesome and decided to look hard in my record and found out that they missed putting in an evaluation that scored me an extra 4 points. I have been in the navy for 8 years now that is not too bad for making first class, especially since i have been taking the first class test for almost 3 years. thank you for all your congrats! DOH!! :) It took a couple seconds to realize that's San Diego. :) Anyway........ I'm obviously not as bright as you!! Congrats!! Quote Link to comment
