  1. I used billet specialties ET Conical Seat lug nuts on the 620 with Escalade wheels. Worked great and the extended nose on the nut fit the wheel perfect.
  2. Latest thrift store finds. The green one is an RX-3 Super GT
  3. Another trip out to the Second Hand Store and netted a few goodies. They had a New Years special...As much as you can cram into a small bag for 1000 Yen (about $8).
  4. They were a series that came with UCC Coffee a few years ago. No brand name on them but the quality and detail is pretty is damn good.
  5. Spotted this one out on Clark Air Base down in the Philippines.
  6. Showing a little love for the DUSTOFF birds...These guys were great to work with. Or how about a little MI-8...These guys were not so great to work with
  7. Just wondering where you found that pic. I am stationed with 1st MAW now...
  8. Found these in a second hand store last night. Unfortunately the Z is in the wrong box.
  9. Yeah those will be going on the 620...Pretty much everything else will be going though (except for the 16" Wats).
  10. Thanks, just finished them...They are 15 x 8.5 -28
  11. Soon these will be going on the 620...
  12. Saw this little beauty driving around today. Mazda Carol 360 Deluxe...Got to be early 60s. This thing was cool looking. Had a For Sale sign in the back window.
  13. Spotted this one last week while I was down in Manila. This thing was super clean. Right before seeing this I one was passed by a Gallardo and a Bentley Continental GT...
  14. The original owner of the license plate was a Marine in Okinawa (Chuck) and he shipped back a 71 4-door.. He later sold his hako to Paul B. with the oki plates seen in the pic. Paul later sold the 4-door and picked up that 2-door and kept the Okinawa 1971 plates. I think that pic is from Paul's Super Street photo shoot. That is a kick ass video too.
  15. Most of that is paint and bodywork. Big dent behind the driver door, small dent in the driver door, bottom rear corner of driver door folded in, dent in the roof right above the B-Pillar where it looks like someone was standing, a few other dents and dings around the car...something was spilled on the roof and the paint started bubbling...the entire exhaust was crushed/bent to the point where the downpipe hits the transmission (looks like manifold might be bent too) and the rear of the exhaust is bent into the rear crossmember, a few spots on the underbody and frame were tweeked a little - it looked like it was picked up with a forklift The wheels that were put on my car when mine were stolen were the incorrect offset so they were grinding on the new coilovers, not to mention the fact that the wheels were loose because they couldn't be tightened down all the way or they wouldn't move from hitting the coilovers. Car was moved around with the E-brake on so rear brakes were burnt. There were a few other things so the prices added up pretty quick. And getting work done in Japan ain't cheap... So all-in-all a great experience...
  16. Sadly I am still dealing with the aftermath in the claims process. The wheels ended up being only a small part of the overall damage claim: Total repair/replace estimate came to just shy of $12,000.
  17. U2/TR-1...Worked a few missions with the Black Cats out of Osan AB, ROK back in the early 90s. They had a Mustang GT as their chase car, was pretty bad ass watching them land those things.
  18. Stopped in the local model shop yesterday...First time there, had a pretty cool selection of stuff.
  19. Sitting down here in Subic Bay, Philippines in a Korean restaraunt waiting for the fight. Should be good time, it is pretty much a holiday down here.
  20. I had an 04 (2wd) and loved it. Drove it from San Diego to Chicago and back twice and never once had any issues, was my daily driver as well. The only reason I sold it was due to a move overseas. Decent amount of room inside (packed all kinds of crap in the back and on top of that thing), gas mileage was pretty good, decent amount of power, good handling, towed a trailer with a few bikes on it with no problem. The biggest problem I had with it was changing the spark plugs. One of the plugs in the back is a real ass pain, took me and a buddy to change the damn thing. Hood off, one on top of the engine and one underneath, a few extensions and a couple universals.
