  1. Man, I thought you died or something. lol Glad to see your car getting some well needed attention
  2. Damn man, haven't heard from you in a LONG time!
  3. Wish you were selling this when I was looking for one
  4. I love the junk yard up here that I visit. They don't have hardly any Datsun parts, but they got PLENTY of old shit that I love to examine closer when i get home ;) They let me out there in the yard whenever. Prices are great too! Payed $100 for my Z31 power seats.
  5. I'll go take pictures in the morning to get a better idea what I'm workin with here. I'm pretty confident at this point that the problem lies with the fuse box, mainly because it acts as if there is a bad connection, and the fuse box is the only thing they have in common.
  6. You commented the same time I did >.<
  7. WTF?? $800?? What are those people smoking to be giving away such a beautiful truck for that price?? Nice grab man!
  8. Now come get that bike. It's calling your name
  9. Ahhh the good ol' A-series! These are pretty good motors to build, because if you do it right, you can build a pretty torquey motor out of them. From what I've been told on Datsun1200.com, they can handle revs in stock form up to and not 1RPM over 6500, but I would never take mine higher then 6000. I've heard of gains through that kind of setup ranging from 10-15HP, but thats depending on a lot of variables. If you want to rev higher, then you want to look for stronger valve springs like the GX springs. Also, if you haven't already you need to upgrade from the stock coil. Now that you're putting more air and fuel in the engine, you want to put more spark through to make sure you burn off every little bit of gas. More spark=more efficiency and more power. With that said, you also want to open the spark gap to take full advantage of the increased spark. A good coil for the A15's is the MSD Blaster series. I'm running a Blaster 3 coil with the 8OHM ballast resistor (REQUIRED!!!) and I can tell the difference in the way it revs, idles, and how much cleaner the new plugs seem to be. You might try jumping on the Datsun1200.com forums for this question, because those guys are A-series gurus.
  10. Too hot outside!! I measure the temp on my roof at 140+

  11. No but I think I know where I can get one. I thought you were taking the Yota?
  12. I got nothing else to drive skibberz. unless you'll let me borrow yours I think I'll be stuck going through my wiring AGAIN until it's fixed
  13. Summit made those?? Thats pretty neat
  14. So, NOW I have brake lights, which randomly started working after removing the fuse box. Which leads me to believe the terminals are corroded keeping me from getting a good connection. I cleaned em up and still have no turnsignals/hazards or headlights. But I do have tail lights. Does anyone know where the headlights are fused at? They don't seemed to be fused through the fuse box. Even the manual isn't much help here.
  15. I was gonna go =/ But my car has pretty much thrown in the towel for a while. My electrical system is on the fritz, so unless I can get it fixed in a week there won't be any meet for me.
  16. Thats Aoles? Thats damn nice!! Now I REALLY have to meet him!
  17. Replaced all the fuses. Checked and I DO have 12volts at the brake light switch. When you press down the brake pedal, it looses 12 volts all together. I didn't notice any contacts that are dirty, but tomorrow afternoon I'll go through em all.
  18. lol just what I need, more cheap shitty parts. I'll just get the job and make trips to summit. I helped put some on a friends Accord and they split down the side the first time he stepped on the brakes.
  19. Funny thing is, they want me to work for them Sad thing is, I'm considering it. Money is money right?
  20. That thing is just so fawking neat
