Yeah didn't even think about the compression blowing the rings :( I'm gonna do a compression check Saturday since I work both jobs tomorrow. Do you think it's possible I have a stuck oil ring? And what do you mean by cylinder ridge? Sorry, total noob to rotating assembly.

Attractive title much? Alright.. heres the deal.. My car is smokin like a Jamaican. I just rebuilt the top end and replaced the blown head gasket. The car was burning oil when I got it, but now it's just insane. To the point that it isn't safe to run the car since it smokes up the street. (YES it's that bad.) When I pulled the head I found a slight bit of rust on the cylinder wall from the head gasket leaking water (over-diluted coolant) into the cylinder. Thought nothing of it since it was a tiny spot that you couldn't even feel. I started up the car tonight after putting on the new thermostat housing and let it run for a while. After about 15 minuets it started puffing smoke. No biggy at the time since it wasn't any worse then before. After a while it was just blowing smoke and I began getting concerned. The only weird thing is that it runs perfect. Doesn't hesitate to start, no missing, nothing. It doesn't have ANY symptoms of blow by (although it clearly has it.) Pulled the rear plug to check it out and it was a little wet so I went and got my dad and his cool tool. I think you see where this is going. Anyways, found the dish of the piston is soaked in oil. Now, my dad spoke to a master mechanic friend who mentioned that I may have a stuck oil ring as a result of the rust. But also that they may just be ready to be replaced. What do you guys suggest? Think it may be my oil ring?

LOL you called it. Alright.. here's the story I got; Apparently, she and her dad were talking on her porch when he saw someone drew boobs in the street. She left chalk out(shes was babysitting and they were drawing) and Austin had been walking around, so her dad had her call him over. After a chat, he admitted to it (no big deal right?) After that he asked to borrow her phone to text his friend to see if he could come over. Her dad told her to let him use it which is when the fuckery occurred. By the time she got the phone back, I had already seen it. She went into the outbox and saw it which is when she freaked out. Needless to say, I'm going to beat the brakes off this little shit if I ever see him looking crosseyed at me. He walked the line. Rather post here for advice then sit around in my head and end up fucking up! Besides, it brought out the funny in Radio

lol I've been stuck with the skanky nasty ones all my life, and she just kinda stuck out for being different from them. She's pretty awesome. I'm just questioning it all right now. Not sure what to say about her. Hell, I get texts from her all the same saying "I just saw a pretty Datsun!" At least now she can tell them apart :P

Well here's what makes no sense to me. You're right when saying she can't see it when texting, so if he really did change it how did she instantly know thats what it was? I mean, as soon as I texted her back she texted me about it. Also, earlier in the night she texted me about her signature "randomly dissapearing" and not showing up in texts. I didn't think a thing of it until last night. Sorry, shoulda broken it down Amber=GF Austin= Ex MYB= irrelevent bullshit. <3= Love The whole thing is, usually when she texts me, the signature where the ex's name is above is my name. Last night when she texted me, it was her ex's name.

You're right 100% there. Shes got TONS of guys that want us over. But this is between her and the ex.
