  1. X2! My 210 is in pieces but still drives like a champ! Hell, when my wheel fell off, I just jacked it up, put it back on and drove it home (carefully)
  2. Don't worry, I started the color sanding and polishing the roof. I'll get you oics as soon as it's finished later this week (I hope)
  3. TONS of cars use that same bolt pattern. 80's Mustangs, most old Datsun cars (if not all), and a few more. ZX rims look GREAT on a 210.
  4. Theres tons. Any with the 4/114.3 bolt pattern.
  5. Tell that to my GF I was gonna get it earlier but I passed the fuck out
  6. But then why would there be oil on the piston dish? It's not ready to drive yet, but I'm gettin her there I'm gonna test compression anyways
  7. Okay this is weird.. No compression numbers yet since I have been working on a garage sale all day, but heres this interesting little thing.. It was smoking pretty bad again earlier, but when I pulled the car out (first time on the road in almost 3-4 months ) my mom and GF told me that it wasn't smoking as bad, and as I pulled down the driveway it had quit smoking. Stuck oil ring maybe? I don't think it would do this if the rings were blown.
  8. Silly kitten, you surrender like the French.

      OOOOOO-ooooooo

  9. Oh shittt.. just realized that I'm having a garage sale Saturday. Guess I'll be doing work with bunches of weird people around :P
  10. The fuck? Like the car, but why not just RB it if you want it modern? Or maybe put a modern Hemi? Not knocking it, just curious.
  11. Out of curiosity, how do I get a dry reading on cylinder 4 when its soaked in oil?
  12. Well, I thought that was it originally, but it wasn't smoking on the first start. It just started and progressively got worse. Plus the whole "oil filling the piston" thing kinda dissolves that theory :(
  13. Doing it ASAP :) Good thing I work at Autozone tomorrow. That's possible, and I didn't think about this. Hope I don't have to replace them :(
  14. It was constant, but it was very light. Never noticed a difference in oil level. In fact, the only time I really ever saw it smoke was on the road when you were around 3000 RPM. And yes, blueish white smoke. It ran or about 5-10 minuets. As soon as it started getting bad was when I shut it off.
  15. Not bad. It was a just a bit. Nothing more then i would expect from a 200,000 mile car.
  16. Now that I think about it, I DID use carb cleaner on the pistons to clean and also used WD40 to protect from rust while I rebuilt. Maybe my rings are stuck?
  17. Probably a vac leak at the brake booster. Check your vac line to the booster for cracks or ANY leaks. If none, you should start pricing them.
  18. Check for corrosion in the sockets and ALL connections. Had the same problem on the same exact car. Put in dielectric grease in ALL the sockets and all connections to protect from corrosion.
  19. Not according to the dipstick. Yes new valve seals. Full rebuild of the top end. Seals, valves lapped, even smoothed out the ports.
