  1. Any auto parts store, Sears, hardware store should have feeler gauges. Try not to buy the cheapest set. They're cheap for a reason. Next, combine different sized feelers to get the size you want to measure. Use as few feelers as possible to equal your desired measurement. You want to slide the group of feelers that represent the gap you are trying to measure into the gap you are trying to measure. I find myself looking for some sexual innuendo here, let's disregard that. They should slide in and out of the gap with very slight resistance. Not too much, not too little. BE PATIENT AND DON'T HALF-ASS IT ;D
  2. white and red are now available p.m. me to order
  3. I believe MKlotz has a video on here too. Mebbe PM him for the link to his site, which will help you with a lot of other questions too :D
  4. Cam lobes for #1 cylinder (front of engine) at 10 and 2 o'clock is TDC #1. You don't need to find TDC to adjust your valves. Just need to have cam lobes pointed upwards
  5. Is there any difference between a brake MC from a drum brake 620, and a brake MC from a disk brake 620???

  6. Bump for new price and inventory (see first post)
  7. I can remove the text and make it say whatever :D
  8. Restocked my vinyl supply today, ready to get back to work!

I got a pretty serious project in the works and may need some vinyl done. I found one side of the 35 year old stripes, but need a few sets made. It would be something like this. We can discuss if you think you can: http://website.lineone.net/~dr.dub/800champed2.jpg

The side I found is NOS but crappy. But it has exact dimension and spacing. I'm assuming once in the computer, it could be mirrored to replicate?

  9. I'll get a vector made for it. New decal:
  10. I could cut just the text and circle, but the design Janksun requested via PM would need to be printed vinyl, and my printer is offline at this time. I could cut a white background and lay the text on top, but that would raise the cost a bit because of extra materials and some rather difficult labor. I'll give it a shot and make a prototype when I get a minute :D
  11. ^^^^ Those aren't BRE stripes, those are just stripes :D My inventory is running low, but I should be able to re-stock next week, and we can get it going then.
  12. Yeah, negotiating royalties. She made me a pretty good offer, I just haven't got back to her yet.
  13. I can make some stripes, yeah. Can't make "BRE" stripes yet, still talking that over with the Brocks.
  14. I'd so much rather do those designs on a Tshirt rather than decal.
  15. Yes, a wet install can be challenging. I recommend cleaning the surface with rubbing alcohol, and applying to a dry surface above 60 degrees fahrenheit. But we don't live in a perfect world. I'm happy you got them installed despite the rain, care to post some pics? :D I've decided to make another batch available at this price. I'll edit this thread when I'm done with the batch.
  16. I'm still debating with myself about this.
  17. Thank you Kirden! Workshirts are coming soon. And thank you everyone who's been ordering for following the instructions for orders. It can be a real nightmare to keep a whole bunch of orders straight if customers don't follow certain protocol. Out of all my clients, Ratsun, you are my favorite :D
  18. Yeah, I like this. That's gotta look clean under the hood. I love adding modern tech to old cars. Good idea that you carry an extra fan motor. The belt driven fan is far less likely to fail, on the other hand a cooling fan circuit can easily be diagnosed and repaired on the side of the road if you have some spare parts and wire :D I always carry an extra spool of wire, and strippers and connectors and a meter under the seat of my car. Great write-up friend!
  19. Lolz, yeah Tendril had mentioned doing other states as well.
  20. ^^^^^^ Well my friend, custom work is my specialty and it's how I set myself apart from the other "sticker" guys. So send me the details when you're ready. So.... The hat press I got was a piece of shit. I wish I would have ordered the box of Dickies shirts, that looks like a sure shot. Once I jump around on one foot w/ my finger on my nose, while patting my stomache and reciting the alphabet in reverse, I'll end up with a refund for the press and order a box o workshirts. Stay tuned :D Also, discussion on the layout of the shirts is welcome right now! The product is for you, let's make it how you want it. Tendril's idea, I kinda like it!
  21. Sold out. Looks like you guys like this price. I'll whip up another batch of colors and update the inventory and title. I can sell these all day long at this price, cuz I like seeing Ratsuners with smiles :D
