  1. I agree but it's not in the 'builders' row, it's out in the yard for picking...sadly it's probably too late which sucks a$$!
  2. Well I thought he may have been on here but he goes under a different handle on the first site I found him in. I read he had Datsuns and was even thinking of (gasp) selling his 620 to fund this Crown project...hahaha still a pretty cool ride. I PM'ed him on another site, I should PM him here to see if he wants me to pick him any spare parts since he's not in California. :)...just being Ratsun-friendly.
  3. Looks pretty OG if you ask me...with that long trunk! Plus I just read that they came with an inline 6...the engine in there did look pretty big for the car. I didn't take any engine bay pics though.
  4. No BBS, they're just hub caps. I couldn't believe how light pressure was needed for the doors to close, unlike my 2 door where you have to slam it to get it to shut.
  5. So I was out at my local junkyard today and I ran across this clean mostly if not completely straight and totally complete 1969 Toyota Crown. The bumpers are straight and clean, the interior is black leather and all there even has a perfect headliner. The front grille is aged but clean, straight and intact as well. All lenses are there and not broken at all. Only thing missing was both side emblems. Even the freakin' C pillar vents look like ours. I would have snagged them but they have the word crown on them and I wasn't sure how to remove them without tearing the headliner but if anyone is into Toyota's this would be a great little ride to save. Heck even the entire drivetrain was there! Here's a few pics I took of it.
  6. haha I jus saw a fresh looking Yugo at the junkyard today, I thought of Alex!
  7. You might want to read the VERY TOP of the page where it very clearly states: Read First: Rules for posting in the For Sale section Seller 1/ The item for sale MUST have a price on it. Auction style postings will not be tolerated. 2/ There must be a location where the item is being sold. Doesn't have to be exact. Failure to conform to the above rules will result in the post being removed. No exceptions!
  8. Wow your car has come a LONG way since you got it. Great build pics! Hope you have a safe and fun trip to JCCS!! Jester: Are you referring to them not being durable if running without floor mats or all together? I only ask because I haven't heard anyone tell me they haven't been durable. I am running my carpet kit on both my 510's and haven't had any problems, then again I am running floor mats just because I don't personally like how any car looks like without mats. Besides that the kits have held up really well on my cars and everyone local that's been running them as well...just saying.
  9. If your friend got anything close to 50mpg, trust me it wasn't a Civic Si, it most likely was a Civic VX, that was the Honda fuel miser from 1992-1994 that was rated at 50mpg, an Si would never get 50mpg unless it was coasting down a long long mountain with the engine shut off. FYI: 1992 Honda Civic Si's original window sticker showed 29mpg (city) and 36mpg (hwy)
  10. That's why I love my 1988 Honda (yes a Honda) CRX HF...191K on it and it still gets me near 48mpg on the highway. No 3 cylinder engine here...plus a/c...yeah this little sucker rocks. Oh and as for resale value...I recently got offered $6K for it...but I didn't take it...instead I sold one of my other ones I had. I had a total of 3 of them, I'm down to just 2.
  11. Good pics Gustavo...you seemed to miss this one! Hahahaha look at that grin...probably the one you have when you're cruising in your 510 too!
  12. Hey Marshall it was great meeting you...I hope you met plenty of other folks and can bring out your wagon soon! Enjoy your carpet kit! :)
  13. Even with $10K that's a tall order to fill. I've seen some local guys get into a SR20DET 510 just under your price point but had to button things up and I'm sure it came out to be much more than the $10K you're looking at. Granted that was over a year ago and some may be more willing to take a loss in thier cars if they're desperate...but if it's such a deal you have to be quick to pull the trigger and willing to travel a little bit to pick it up if needed. Not every deal is local.
  14. So you're only interested in SR 510, you might want to consider some KA-T 510's as well...there's a few out there I'm sure.
  15. Oh man for a second I thought I screwed up (again) the date...good thing I'm not the 'idiot' this time :P See you guys tonight!
  16. SHRALP_GNAR (Josh): Sent your kit out on Tuesday and sent your tracking info to you last night. Thanks! Stupid_Fast (Marshall): I'll bring your kit out with me tonight.
  17. Even while on vacation in Santa Barbara I found a set of 6 lug wheels for my buddy Hector...just came back from picking them up.

Haha I always do a parts search where I plan a vacation! :)

  18. Bump for this Thursday night's meet! Be there or be a bastard! Ha ha ha :P
  19. Shoot I sold one of my past 510's to a guy in Australia that I never met...then again his local friend was Clayton, that's when/how I met Clayton so it worked out well for all of us that way. Maybe this guy has some local friends here that can vouch for him, if not from Ratsun, maybe from some other of the sites he's on?
  20. You'll have to ask a truck guy that..I don't know...just go to the junkyard and start searching all 70's trucks!
  21. DONK DONK DONK...hahaha...JK buddy. Well it also depends on the drop, the ones I've seen in person look donked out! At least they don't look like this! You'res are alright buddy...barely...JK! LOL P.S. My 17" Panasports would look killer on your car, we'll have to put them on to see how they look for sure!
  22. Old school 70's truck console for that vintage look instead of a weird too rounded style.
  23. I would but that's a l-o-n-g drive and my wagon isn't original paint, it's been painted at least once in its life.
