      Let's not go overboard, the US is THE largest economy in the world, far larger than Greece and if/when we have a recovery it should be helpful not only to us but the entire world economy. If/when Greece bounces back it won't have the same world wide effect.

    Off to an expensive morning...got pulled over by the man and got ticketed for failing to come to a complete stop! Damn cops, isn't there some real crime going in for them to worry about than to pull me over after the first stop sign from my house!

      Do a trial by written declaration. Even if you lose, you can still request a jury trial or traffic school. Requires the cop to answer with other paperwork so they usually blow it off and you win.

    I highly doubt this was a planned de-orbit, if it was they could give a better range of it's impact just like a few years ago when they de-orbited the Russian spacelab MUIR, that was controlled so whatever made it through the atmosphere made its splash into the ocean. You can't just 'push' something out of the way, it would require a lot of propellant which is heavy and therefore would cost a lot of money to get into orbit, right now the rule of thumb is $10K per pound (to get to orbit) so they have to calculate how much the satellites planned mission life will need. Trust me, NASA guys are smart, this sounds like it was a totally unexpected problem, once a satellite is dead there's nothing you can do to it.

    That is the LAST thing any government wants, think about it, if you blow it up it'll create a debris field comprised of tiny 18,000-20,000 MPH projectiles just spinning around earth. Now think about any one of those tiny pieces hitting a sensitive satellite on it's way up to its orbit...that's no bueno! Spake junk is a huge issue to anything that's in low earth orbit.

    No guys Zhiguli (Alex) doesn't have a website, in fact he stopped selling Datsunlandsocal's stuff for various reasons, one of them was because of the flack he used to get from guys when the rubber would crack, it wasn't like he was making them himself but since he was the seller's face he'd have to hear the complaints about it and yes often times I'd hear that customers would be able to get a replacement from datsunlandsocal, but I doubt it was a guarantee thing. Well that and he got a jobby job where he doesn't have to rely on selling Datsun stuff on the side to get some extra cashola. Unfortunately what he used to tell people still holds true...where can you buy OEM rubber? Unfortunately we don't have much choise or selection when it comes to this. I do wish you good luck in trying to get yours replaced!

    I'm trying to figure out who owns this car on the left with the hood open, the one that's cut off and you only see the front fender with the white (top) and grey (bottom) two tone paintjob! Anyone know who this guy is?

    I know, from the small pictures it has all the markings of a 68, no rear side markers at all, CB style antenna on the hood cowl on drivers side, arrow side markers, smaller rear tail lights, horizontal dash with the center dash pad with the dip in the middle, and exposed wiper linkage in the engine bay! Damn too bad I don't have more room!

    Yeah but I figured things can get lost in there and I know there's always a lot of interest for 68's, so with a 2 door I figured it would get more eyeballs (and quicker) on here rather than there. :P Plus I did include all the necessary info that complies with the rules for posting in the for sale section...so :rolleyes:
