  1. But just over 2 months? You'd think he'd know a early 70's car wouldn't exactly be anything like a modern car. Oh well, GLWS!
  2. Got mine today, thanks a lot Greg! Much appreciated!!!
  3. I'm still waiting for my freebie demo rack...c'mon Mark, you have to advertise your work! :P
  4. It's just hard to come up with the time to create something, then to make it available. If I had more time I'd create and update this...one day...one day.
  5. It's just like the saying goes, too many chefs in the kitchen...in the past there's always been all these 'great' ideas floating around. Let's set up a Ratsun T-Shirt...lots of people came up with a thread on getting some made...end result...NOTHING. Others wanted to set up a meetup...lots of ideas thrown around, plenty of places and times suggested...end result...NOTHING. So unless you get your own idea's ball rolling, it will likely go no where. Just saying, that's the trend, if you don't think so do a search for 't-shirt' or meet up and unless the new server only dates back to when we switched to this new server, trust me there were a lot of threads started but nothing ever got off the ground, hence why you don't see other ones on here today.
  6. Sure set up the design, make them available on a site and sell them to your heart's content!
  7. All PM's replied to, let me look at what shipping to Norway would be and I'll get back to you!
  8. I know man no worries. I'm not a fan of certain Datsun parts but hey that's why there's different things out there right? :) Glad to see you making some good and fast progress on your ride by the way!
  9. Isn't this a Ratsuners wagon? http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/cto/2846705748.html 1968 Datsun 510 Wagon-- Sale or Trade! - $8000 (san jose south) Date: 2012-02-11, 1:03PM PST Reply to: qqxp8-2846705748@sale.craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?] For sale or trade! I've got a 1968 Datsun 510 Wagon that needs a new home. This is one of the most rare Datsun models being its first production year. It has different style wipers, side markers, dash, and other small but interesting differences. I really love the car, but I'm going to school soon and I need something that gets better MPG and is cheaper. The car has been nothing but babied by me and many parts have been upgraded or replaced. The motor is a high compression 2.2L block built by Troy Ermish Racing with dual SU carbs. It makes a lot of torque and pulls hard all the way up to 6k. Suspension is Troy Ermish coilover conversion in the front and stock leafs in the rear with the helper leaf flipped (lower and stiffer) and tokico blue shocks. Transmission is a 5 speed, but I don't know what it was swapped from. Interior has custom center console and and 240z bucket seats up front with the stock bench in the back. All of the leather in the interior has been replaced including the door panels and headliner. Dash gauges for fuel, water temp, and voltage and a small tach hidden in the air vent. HID headlights. The car has a big stereo but thats coming with me unless I get the right price. Rota rims . Tinted windows. Custom aluminium oversized radiator. The bads: I don't have the proper linkage for the carbs so the gas pedal is really sensitive. You get used to it pretty quickly though. There is a short somewhere in the HID line but I'm working on finding it right now The car is loud and has typical 40 year old car squeaks and rattles It currently has no gas cap no heater Overall this car is a really really fun car, and I honestly don't want to see it go. I'm looking for something fun, rear or awd, and reliable so if you have something you want to trade let me know as well! The price is $8000 obo. I'm not really in a rush to sell it, but shoot me a price and we will talk. Either e-mail the link above or send a TEXT ONLY to 408- eight one three - 4 1 2 5 From Car Engine bay is now satin black I don't have any good interior pics but if you want to see them send me an email and I'll take some. Thanks for looking!
  10. The love the fact that it's not on every 510 you see. I'm grateful it doesn't resemble the stock US grilles in any way, that's what sets it apart! Plus I have had a ton of unsolicited offers to buy it from me, and while they're entertaining I don't see myself selling it anytime soon, so while it you may not everyones cup of tea, it hasn't stopped the offers from coming up. You'll quickly find that guys want to get rare parts that not every dime has on it and of course unless you stumble across it by luck and get it cheap, most rare parts are EXPENSIVE. Lucky for me I got my bluebird grille for a song compared to what they're selling for now. :) I'll see if I can find it, unfortunately that pic was about 2 laptops ago so I have to find the right hard drive then search for it in all the pics. It's really easy though, just find any pic of them installed and that's all the installation instructions you need! :)
  11. Thanks and yeah they were hood struts, I think I accidentally deleted that pic from my photobucket account! I need to find it and repost it. :)
  12. Thanks buddy, I miss seeing updates on your old goon!
  13. Awesome, thanks I appreciate the heads up! EDIT: I picked one up just now for $10 at my local mom/pop auto store! SWEET!
  14. Those seats sure look like they're off a 1988-1991 Honda CRX.
  15. Dang it's been a while since I've posted anything on this. Well someone 'borrowed' my old roof bick rack to make thier 510 look cool so I had to get another one. Slapped it on plus some decals on it. :)
  16. Do you need fiberglass or would stock metal ones do the job? Just saying incase someone has stock metal one available. :)
  17. I just checked Oreily's and they're $2.49 without tax or shipping, so even if they're the same price and saves me both the taxes and a trip there, not a bad deal in my book.
  18. Money sent...but just wondering when I looked up a 68-73 Datsun 510 on NGK's website it says the spark plug part number should be BR6ESXX so just wanting to verify these will work. Not doubting you just wanting to double check. :)
  19. Shoot...I may hit you up to pick one up for me and ship it...I've never seen them at my local parts store, but then again I've never looked for one there! :)
  20. I would like to get a stock CB style antenna but I'll try looking at the auto parts store to see what they have. I just don't want the 'new' kind of antenna that's a lot shorter and black, I prefer the old school look.
  21. C'mon Abe I know you have to have one with all your other 68 parts!
