  1. Umm, actually Shakotan refers to a region of Japan, Shakotan, Hokkaido. it doesnt mean "flush".
  2. But, JIC Magic's adapted from Q45 do. B) It definitely is shakotan, just no flares. It definitely isnt ricer though.
  3. LMAO, that is ridiculous, do I sense some photoshopped Tahoe there?
  4. "We're actually required to wear um...fifteen pieces of flair" "Doesn't it bother you that you have to get up in the morning and put on pieces of flair?"
  5. Too bad none of us will likely ever see a R390. alas.
  6. Awesome, I posted in the right place then, since that isnt a ricer. Pretty OBVIOUSLY Shakotan style.
  7. Good things are coming.......Good things..........

  8. I picked this up today from a car at the yard. You can see why I wanted another one in the picture. The blue one is AFTER I hit it with abrasive wheels and rust reformer in a couple sections.
  9. I put this video in the sunroof thread, I guess I should put it here too. I met another 910 owner last night, riding on JIC Magic, and Centerlines, shakotan style. These cars are starting to get big.......
  10. Ugh, they arent, I have one, it will fit and look OK, but it doesnt fit correctly, and the armrest doesnt look right in a 910 Maxima. I dont understand why all the center consoles are gone. My buddy Henry, Who I met just the other day, has 2 910s and only one came with a center console. I dont even need it brown, I will take any color I can find. I have SEM.
  11. That, Tristan, is epic. Many boyhood memories, and a lifelong desire to own a real Esprit.
  12. I saw something in Ecology today that made me so depressed, I couldnt take a picture. A 1985 Audi Quattro. A real 2 door one, the first 4 wheel drive rally car, one of only 664 that were imported to the states between 1983 and 1986. I have always wanted one and to see this one, in the best color - green, that someone had sold to ecology for a mere few hundred bucks, kind of just hurt. The things some people sell.
  13. Just Rustoleum self etching, I am going to get the car repainted in about 2 years or so, so I just wanted to eliminate the rust on the sunroof hole and take care of that entire area as I restored the sunroof. It turned out so good though I could probably paint the whole car..... lol.
  14. Yeah, those wheels look great. I assume hes using f lug from 240sx/300zx? I want my power steering box GONE. At least until I figure out EPS in it..... I hate fluid power steering, so messy.
  15. Nice man, keep it up. I had to pull my dash as well to do a bunch of shit.... The quest continues.....
  16. Thanks man, Yeah it is really smooth. I was amazed that it only needs a couple small adjustments once I put it together. Theres more details to come. I will cover repairing the outer panel, and the seal and then shimming of the panel to get it flat with the roof.

What is really pretty awesome to think about is this. The last time that the sun roof was installed, aligned and tested. There were 2 Japanese guys doing it, as a job, day in, day out.

  17. Then my friends who helped me install it were wondering if it worked...... So we all got antzy, and this was the result....... It doesnt have the shims in it yet, and it still needs a few minor adjustments, and there is no gasket, and the panel still needs restored. But it works exactly like it is supposed to.
  18. Lots of progress. and a few videos Here is a video of it operating. Here is the tub with the gasket and finisher plate installed. and heres the wind deflector installed. Its easier to do this out of the car due to the nature of the springs. We dropped it in the car pretty easy through the back windshield opening.
