  1. Nothing wrong with a good ol VF4. Some of us have to be happy with what we get. And we have make incredible results with that. That Matsuura is sexy though.
  2. Yeah, if your an idiot. Theres not too many of those sheep on Ratsun. Otherwise the standard law of supply and demand is what determines gas prices. and the current state or gas prices is a result of Saudi Arabia and OPEC not cutting production. The reason they are not cutting production is because if they do, they will have a smaller part of the pie. Its called protecting your market share.
  3. One time, I hauled an L24 from Vegas to Phoenix in the back of my hatchback, with the transmission, and carbs. it was $50, I couldnt say no.
  4. Those are sweet, but good lord what did the previous owner do to them!!!
  5. ASA, ARS or Triangle Tool? Definitely keep us informed on the 13" tires, I am not big on 13"s myself, but I have a lot of buddies that LOVE 13s.
  6. I can do whatever I want as long as I can get the blanks. Nobody who does wheels makes their own barrels, that includes HRE, Asanti, Fifteen52, basically if you make wheels, you dont make the forging, center or the barrel blank yourself, doesnt matter how big you are, unless your Rays Engineering, BBS, or Enkei. We all buy them from suppliers in raw, freshly spun, blanks, then we drill the holes and bore the center, then have them polished and/or coated/plated/annodized. I know 2-3 shops that will do 13" barrels.
  7. Of all your wheels Steve, those BBS are the ones that make me envious, nice score.
  8. That is incorrect. There are alot of wheel refinishers that do 13". Hell I will do them for you if you want lol. Nothing that he does is rocket science, a trade secret, proprietary information, or difficult. And he would not simply help me with me need for barrels alone. Since than I have had a bad taste in my mouth about him. He does however do very good work, just pricey.
  9. The electric motors are not direct drive to the wheels, they go through at least one set of gears. I am refering to that as a driveline.
  10. I was talking about the one with the ford 2.3 turbo SVO engine when i said "thats sick"
  11. He does beautiful work, hes expensive but worth it. MemoryFab also does some good work like this As does 4TH UP JDM Imports
  12. Hahahaha, So the dampers are performing pretty well with the high spring rates?
  13. Thanks Mike, That is pretty much what I am figuring. T3 said that the AGX shocks need a stiff spring, but if it is too hard I may have to change some things. I was a bit apprehensive about 350 as well so we will see how it goes. Luckily springs are fairly inexpensive so I can play with rates a bit. But if I vary too much either way then I will need to change dampers as well.
  14. Damn your cheap!!, lol. I say go for a pc680 AT $109, you will still have it in 5-10 years. Of course 6.4 lb is DAMN light. What are you using for shock inserts? Stock?
  15. I just ordered the weld on kit from T3 with 350lb springs and needle bearing hats. Should be here this week. Now I need to order the AGX shocks and we will be ready to lower it.
  16. You should pick up an Odyssey PC680, or PC925, the 925 is truly overkill for your needs, the 680 would work perfect for you. I have had one for 3 eyars and it NEVER fails. I a person that has an Odyssey that is 7 years old and functions perfectly, starts his car every time. And I know yet another person with a turbo 7M Supra that never has a single issue with them. The best part is that they only cost $115 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Odyssey-PC680-Battery-Replaces-51814-51913-2y-warr-/170884593956?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27c983f924&vxp=mtr
  17. That Corolla Trueno is also very sick.
  18. Its still called an Axle. they are not connected directly, they go through a driveline and an AXLE.
