That actually looks a lot nicer. I am still more interested in this as a reintroduction of the Silvia than I am a 510. If they made some part of it out of carbon fiber, like major part, like a couple body panels, then that would actually embody the original 510 spirit a lot. The original 510 brought a huge ammount of european features and handling for a bargain price. If they did that with the new IDX, they could easily embody that spirit of the original by including some stuff made of carbon like all the europeans are in what seems like every car now.

Porsches have probably the most unoptimal handling drivetrain design, rear engine rear wheel drive. The RWDs run anywhere between a 315 and a 365 rear tire to negate the handling effects of the RR setup. Te flares are actually purposeful for covering large as hell wheels with large as hell (non stretched) tires for getting the power to the ground, which it does better now than most FR chassis. The lip in the front, its a garage door lower rubber strip, Nakai puts them on there to be a destroyed item because the cars are so low. It is there to be eaten by the road, and replaced by another $20 dollar piece.
