  1. Well ill give em a shot still. ZX brakes on there.
  2. Plenty of room on the backside, the hub face is flat, and the barrel is "non invasive" like cast and steel wheels. The beads concern me the most...or lack thereof...
  3. Hey folks, recently scored 6 of these, in varying conditions. 4 are useable, 2 need repair. Stupid lightweight, like 8lbs. I "believe" they are 13x8s, so. Can they fit an un-flared car? What tire size? They have NO beads...unsafe??
  4. Im an OSP car as well, 4 wheel discs make me an outlaw lol
  5. SSR SuperStar, I *THINK* 13x8?? I thought they were 14s, but when I held them up to my existing 14s... came up short. Im gonna try n fit em, i have my doubts though...
  6. Have someone who KNOWS what they are doing hit it with a buff!!! It comes back!
  7. That paint is original if you can believe it!!! Boaty on here buffed it out years ago from 40 years of oxidation.
  8. I wouldnt ask steve to do that again, he killed himself doing the meshies. They are staying, I scored a set of SIX of these super stars for a stoopid good deal, gonna test em out. =)
  9. Will should remember me from shasta, my 510 at the time and his roadster were twins in the paint dept! I almost tagged Steves BMW when he stopped short on the silly millie in 06 ;P Almost, but didnt!
  10. WTB: 240sx fuel filler neck

  11. Its an L18 block/crank, bored to 87mm for Z22 pistons, and L16 rods. A87 peanut head with massaged chambers by Rebello. Engine was actually an old "IT Cheater" engine built from spare parts in the 90's. Ironically the guy who built it then had moved within 20 miles of where I live and had his own shop. He helped me rebuild it from the ground up. Quick and peppy, but being held back by small ports and a DGV... Springs are from Uber Deaf, some 4x4 off road spring cut in half. he was supposed to get me part numbers... :P Its a love hate relationship. At WOT on my modified L16 intake it scoots pretty well. Around town, it suffers 2 barrelitis. Like steppin in oatmeal throttle response... All mine is brand new, sadly, cant use the flywheel, im running a 5 bolt setup... stock l18 flywheel lightened to 17lbs. Thanks for the offer Oddly enough, its quite difficult... These stick like much more spendy tires...makes no sense... Sounds like a great plan come springtime! Cars gettin taken off the road for the winter, gettin a rollbar, and... somethin special for the engine... Notmuch ego to check haha, i know im way out of practice in an "ok" car on "ok" tires... Some crazy fast ladies in SCCA SFR as well...
  12. Btw those camber bolts are known to slip no matter what you do....
  13. Spec-BRE is Kenny, i know him from other online 510 groups. he shared 2 photobucket links INCORRECTLY!!! Bahahahah....
  14. Dammit man! Im 2.5hrs east of the UFO runs, all this posting has me wanting to get back into autoxing!!! I have an L19 (not a typo)w/DGV, ZX trans, roadster clutch, had a 4.11 LSD in there, but needs rebuild, 175# front springs and 240# ish rear wheel rate, front 7/8 bar, rear 3/4 bar. Tires are Falken 329 M+S tires hahahahahah, they work ok though.
  15. Kenny kenny kenny, had no idea this was you till the pics!!! WE DEMAND VIDEOS OF THIS CAR IN ACTION!!!
  16. THe joys of low pro tires, not realizing when your are UNDER inflated until the car drives like oatmeal :P This is all really good info, i recommend sticky!
  17. I'm a UFO member as well, last time i autox'd was 06 or so at the last Shasta event. As he said, we need to know your setup first ;) Great write up ODD!!
  18. Mystery vib solved! Now a surging alternator... god dammit....

  19. This things gets ridiculous though, takes hours to dry out and fix itself, voltage shoots to nearly 20...
  20. hey folks I just had a recurring problem that happened last time at canby. I was washing the car engine bay specifically hood up engine on, I happen to spritz the alternator and heard the engine lug down and I check my voltmeter and I noticed it was pumping out well over 16 volts. I have since unpluged the alternator and ran it for 20 minutes trying to heated everythng up and dry i tout. I even used a leaf blower. every time I started up I can watch volt meter go from 12,14 and then fly over to 16. what is the deal with this thing? All connections are good, only happens with water. Sorry fir bad grammar, on cell phone
  21. Whoever designed the 510 half shafts...I hate him.

Hahahaha, its the way they bolt to the diff, Those 4 studs on each one, only accessible at a certain point in rotation, tiny amount of wrench swing each turn, and they fight you the whole way

use a long screwdriver thru the outer u joint, save you a lot of time.

  22. i see what you did there.... Op is obviously a fag. The port on the water inlet is supposed to be connected to a port on your thermostat housing , or at least it was on my L20B. Its a cold start bypass to speed warm up. Cap it if need be.
