  1. I know, and its hard. I really enjoyed our time together but it is time for me to move on to other projects in the radar. Hainz did you notice I joined this forum a few days before you. lol
  2. Cant believe I may be selling her soon.
  3. San Diego KA project, not mine. http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/cto/2583494070.html
  4. Took so long to get her back on the road working on mini-tub. I was so excited to wash her I had to take a pic. Sorry for old cellphone quality
  5. I was on the same boat as you 3-4years ago. Save yourself the headache. SR have been done so popping the hood to show it off is only a fraction of the coolness of having a running 510 on the road. My suggestion is put the ka in and get her back on the road unless you have a nice budget to throw down on SR.

Get different wheels/tires. It'll be less work, less expensive, and you won't have to cut anything up.

I will not surrender and get other wheels. I must make them fit.

  8. I still have them on car. I just bought some 15x7 last night. I have not measure lip but here is another picture.
  9. The price was 650. Come and get them if you want them.
  10. Mine are 16x7 +22 Rota RB if anybody cares. lol
  11. There is a old school car meet at ski beach this sunday 9-3pm FYI.

  13. Joel's tires on commercial. Its the hood near downtown but cant beat the price. They dont do a great job at balancing tires though. Maybe you can have them mounted elsewhere. (619) 237-1153
  14. It was Mario that was involved in the build which was a 210 but there was a segment where they showed him in this 510 doing donuts during the show.
  15. I have the same exact wheels. You car will look hot. Hard turns are a little tough with my stance. Thats why I want to get 15's so I can lower it more. lol Enjoy wheels
  16. 100-7708 (2.5") or 100-7713 (3.25"). I bought the 100-7708 with 2.5 length, but both would work. I guess the longer ones would be more popular with people running wider wheels and flares. The thread pitch is 12x1.5. I believe the nissan one is 12x1.25. So make sure you buy lug nuts with proper thread pitch. Good Luck. Dont worry, all Datsun's are badasses when u see them on the road. What size rim, offset did you get? I have 16x7 +22. Now I want to get some 15x7.5 or even 15x8 0 offset. I have the 280zx suspension and have to use 3/4" spacer in front. Funny thing is someone on this forum has same setup but only needed to use 1/4 spacer. Go figure.
  17. Nice wheels. I think I went with open end muteki type lug nuts since I upgraded to ARP wheel studs for length. They cost me like 30 bucks when i bought wheels. Enjoy
  18. May want to clarify before going out there but I heard the time changed to 7pm and the Carl's Jr. they met at last week was off Sweetwater Road, where there was a Circuit City. http://maps.google.com/maps?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&channel=s&hl=en&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=national+city+circuit+city+san+diego&fb=1&gl=us&hq=national+city+circuit+city&hnear=San+Diego,+CA&cid=0,0,3060457317555011087&ei=tY9YTKMrjfa2A8elkcQL&sa=X&oi=local_result&ct=image&resnum=1&ved=0CBgQnwIwAA
  19. I heard the new temporary spot is 805 south to Sweetwater exit, in Carls Jr parking lot at the same time, same day. Thats what Monch (69 2dr blue dime) told me.
  20. Your right, you will need new lug nuts.
  21. I believe ARP 100-7708 (2.5") or 100-7713 (3.25") these are 12x1.25 pitch same as stock. These are Gm model numbers but they work.
  22. I have seen people using 1" spacers around these forums. This will help when understanding offset, width and height of rim etc. If you have a 280zx front conversion I would suggest a low offset. I think If i had 16x7 0 offset I would of probably got away with a 1/4" spacer. By the way techno toy tuning will make you a custom spacer for like 60 shipped to your door with your specs, etc. Good Luck http://kmhafer.datsun510.com/wheelFAQ.htm
