Son, Ratsun is my search bar.

  2. I don't think wider wheels are going to help.
  3. Phone number and information or it didnt happen.
  4. How many datsun bolts have you stripped/broke off?

  5. Especially being a yankee car. I saw a 2006 pontiac in the scrap yard the other day that was from NY. Nice looking car with a great running engine The passenger side control arm had literally rusted off the frame.
  6. No because Z car. The function is already taken care of.
  7. No, datsun meets are an East Coast thing. They're rare on the West Coast. Common rust areas are battery tray, bottom of doors, bottom of fenders near doors, forward bed floor, floorpans, and pretty much anywhere that water can collect and sit. If it's been sitting then it may need brakes and or suspension components. The parts are so cheap that I prefer to do it all at once when I get an old vehicle. Master cylinder, wheel cylinders, soft lines, brake shoes, brake fluid, surface/replace drums, inner and outer wheel bearings, misc. rubber bushings, tie rod ends, and 4 new shocks all for under 200$ Rockauto.com is the best source I have found for datto parts and most would agree. I just looked under 73 620 and they have a bunch of closeout deals. 6.80$ shocks! The most important thing to look for is goosebumps and that feeling you get on Christmas morning when you're 5 years old. If that's the case, then you should buy it.
  8. Well considering you have an extra 620, you should make the trade. I only say that because it is a 240 and looks to be in pretty good shape. But your 620 is worth a lot more than that Z around here ( IMO) . Sure the Z's might cost more on craigslist, but there are assloads of Z cars. They're not rare, not even the 240 on the east coast. But the 620 is rare. And, it's a truck, trucks are the best. I'm getting a Z, but I would never get rid of my 620 to get a Z. Do you have something to drive if you get the Z?
  9. A form>function Eclipse is rice as fuck in my book. But keep up the good work!
  10. .22 used to be cheap.......
  11. From what I think I know, the L20b sits higher because it is a taller block. It can have a breather clearance issue in some datsuns.
  12. currently watching- BTW I actually have a crown bag slipped over my shift boot. And a crown bag lined dash compartment. And a crown bag over the cupholder. And a tiny crown bag over the shift knob. and one last crown bag that I clean my windows with.
  13. Man that is a lot of foam. I envy your devotion and hard work. And I respect the fact that you've continued to share your diehard 16yo ricer project while enduring several pages of being berated by the biggest assholes on Ratsun. I hope to one day see pictures of this car complete and drive-able. But if you decide one day to light it on fire, that would be cool too.
  14. Try this http://www.amazon.com/Nu-Finish-Liquid-Car-Polish/dp/B000BPSW7C/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1357274634&sr=1-1&keywords=nu+shine It's my favorite.
  15. Here's original paint before and after. You can see the line at the mirror. Damn I miss that truck.
  16. It's not as good as Nu Shine. Nu Shine is the best.
  17. I fixed my fuel delivery issues and I got a working choke now. I can start it up first try with full choke and half throttle. Makes my job much easier.
