  1. No, unfortuneately the machines arent mine, and my access is limited to them! some are at my highschool shop but the big expensive machines (like the waterjet) are owned by a guy my dad knows.
  2. Heres my first attempt, the cnc is broken so i cut them out on the plasma table, they wont work but they will allow me to design the second piece i need and figure out the best way to get caster adjustments out of them.
  3. Decided i have the resources and time (but no money to buy new ones) to make my own camber plates so i can go a bit lower in the front. I made a wood template on the laser cutter today and will be cutting the metal ones monday on the waterjet. heres a pic of what i have so far:
  4. Let us know how it goes, ive never done it but will have to on my 510 in the upcoming weeks
  5. First thing that came up on google. http://www.biopatent.com/struts.html
  6. It weighs roughly 17.4 pounds and measures almost exactly 8 inches accross the disk which would put it just barely over 200mm If im ever down that direction ill let you know if your interested, but i do have a motor sale pending this afternoon, we'll see how that goes
  7. Just for clarification i dont drive a slammed car, simply quoting the "bandwagoners" as you put it and all my friends who give me shit when i make fun of them for scraping over speed bumps and dogding man holes! Edit: Oh and what does hard parked mean? never heard that before
  8. Its an l20 flywheel, not sure if its lightweight? Came in the car when I bought it, ill take more pictures of it and post them
  9. Lows a lifestyle! haha i wouldnt dd a car that low either, my buddy does it in his STI but i dunno how, he has stupid quick release latches on his bumper becasue he cant make it up gravel driveways.... Theres definately a point when your to low!
  10. ^^^ i would say hes pretty slammed....or if thats not enough this guy has pretty good fitment, i personally love this car
  11. I would start with a gallon, should get you most if not all of it and cheaper then buying it by the quart Seems to me any bolt on camber plate wouldnt have much camber adjustabilty in it? (in a z anyway ive seen them on nice coils for other cars before)
  12. like legit paint or rattle can?
  13. Right now the plan is to run a r200 lsd that i bought out of some other car. should be a straight forward bolt in with minor changes, if i manage to break that ill do all the fab work to run an r230 which from what i understand are bullet proof
  14. And heres some other pics "finished" fiberglass flares i made my lowered seat mounts
  15. I managed to get a few small things done the last couple days patched the rot under the rear sil replaced the rear sil started fabing up the supports that go under the floors finished one rear fender well and started on the other
  16. Thanks, after getting my 510 back to dd status im going to try and get moving on it again. I struggle with body work thats my problem right now! i love working on engines or fabing up stuff, but trying to weld in body panels when im self taught at welding (sorta my dad taught me the basics and said go for it) and learning as i go and sweeping bondo, its not my thing and taking sometime! Ill definately be seeing it through to the end!
  17. I always remembered my bus drivers (if they got the plate number) writing it down and turning them in
  18. ill drive down again, hopefully stick around a bit longer this time!
  19. Hey ill be headed down to seattle tomorrow around noon-ish, if you need anything it would be a great time to meet up
  20. Dont cut that thing up! if i didnt live accross the country itd be gone already!
