  1. Its the best I got unless you have a torch and want to help install this on Sunday when I come down. Yeah the Offy and Weber are from a member who lives down the street from me. Adapter is currently spoken for. If he decides to pass then youre first in line. Ball joints are MOOG Part # K9011
  2. I don't even know what that is... I have the safety scissors of blow torches: heat gun. I'll try that and see how it works. I'm going to install the carb tomorrow.
  3. We shall see tomorrow... I might be the complete opposite of that when I snap every stud installing the carb. I've never had either manifold off so it's going to be PB Blaster central for a bit.
  4. Weber adapter (that I no longer need) and Weber stock air cleaner adapter: New larger balljoints: 1in bump steer spacers: 32/36 with synchronous kit on an Offenhauser intake:
  5. I think if anyone on this forum can work a stick... It's me.
  6. I have a spare B) Well I made the Koyo purchase a little bit ago so looks like I need to buy a cooler.
  7. No one wants to see pictures of your wood Q.
  8. If you cant find anything on forums devoted to swapping stuff into Zs, and you cant find anything in our own Z section... youre going to have a tough time getting people to just give you answers. You may want to either try a new powerplant or just do it yourself, and make a build thread for others that want to follow in your footsteps.
  9. Have you looked through any of the Z builds on here? Did you try Hybrid Z like was suggested when you first showed up?
  10. http://www.wired.com/autopia/2013/09/2014-chevrolet-corvette-review/ Not picking a fight, but just pointing out a trend Ive noticed... you seem to be cynical of almost every car posted in here. Are there any cars other than 910s and 911s that you like?
  11. Cant you use the ones from Zs? Theres three Zs in a yard up here with dual carbs setups. Pull their choke cables.
  12. Youre right, ts only money... Now searching for a cooler to hide behind the grille.
  13. Obviously its there for a reason, but wasnt sure how important it was... since the car is always so slow I thought maybe I could live without it temporarily. I dont even have a temp one to use at the moment and if I have to buy one, I might as well just buy the one Im going to keep. I was trying to avoid that at this point due to the receipts already stacking up. Thanks for the assurance that its more important than I was hoping. Guess a few more dollars has to leave the piggy bank :bye: Thanks Adam.
  14. So Ive been buying a lot of stuff lately to get ready for some work... picked up the larger 14mm ball joints, 1in bump steer spacers, Rabbit inserts (took me awhile to find good ones since theyre sold out everywhere it seems), CVs are on their way, as well as a rather large box from Australia ;) Im meeting up with Hobbes today and snagging a 32/36 along with an Offy intake. Im looking at replacing my radiator with a Koyorad piece. Im mostly dead set on it, but theres one problem... its built for a manual car which has no trans-cooler built in like the stock unit. Is there going to be a big problem if I run sans cooler for awhile until I decide which cooler I want? Do I really even need one? Didnt want to make a post with no pictures, so here are a few recent ones I had put in the "Pic of Your Dime" thread:
  15. So RTB is not a scammer now?
  16. Well I know a way you can make a quick buck to help with tires ;) Yeah Im not a big 720 fan, but every once in awhile a nice one comes along thats pretty cool.
  17. Truck looks great. Personally never a fan of the roof rack trend, but those flares look killer on their. Such a clean truck. Do you have pictures of the 15x8s on there? Would love to see slightly bigger wheels under those flares.
  18. No that you know of. :sneaky: Plus, it would only be for pictures. I doubt the crappy L16 would survive on twin 44s. It doesnt even like the Hitachi.
  19. Do you have current PP screenshots that youve sent money?
  20. Thats a great $500 truck. Looks damn clean other than the little bit of fixable damage.
