Apparently all the Thai 510s are crazy dirty...
  2. Think about all the finger and hand prints all over it... ever see the ETs polishing the bell on the quarterdeck? Thats going to be you... spending hours with little Neverdull fluffs all over the ground trying to keep it nice.
  3. For some reason I thought you were going cover them and use the metal as a core... now I see. Should look cool. You should get some leather pull straps to close the door.
  4. What are the plans for this one Hobbes? Going to keep it, sell it as a whole package, part it out? Looks like youre making some good progress...
  5. Whats making you go with metal? Have you thought about using some sort of plastic sheet? That should give you the durability you want, a thickness like stock, low weight, and minimal cost.
  6. I know James has let owners help with the work before... shoot him a PM and see what you two can work out.
  7. The Keeper... James is the best in that area. One of his rides just took best paint a little bit ago.
  8. Oh fuck youre multiplying...
  9. Same here. Thats why Im trying to get it to work... Ill know more in the morning. Im going to try the glue tomorrow as I have to find a glue stick.
  10. Correct. You can can actually use any L-series 3N71b 6-bolt spacers and flexplate; the Z-cars have them as well.
  11. Sorry, no Mrs. Carter.. but here are two of the dotties from that trip:

    Fuck tha police...
  13. There was just some on eBay like two months ago... sold for under $300.
  14. Unfortunately no... http://www.russoandsteele.com/collector-car/1975-Nissan/16741
  15. You need black panels...
  16. So here is what I have: Momo horn ring with holes clipped out. Momo pattern is 70mm where Nardi is 74mm: Here is the OD of the area of the Momo horn button that snaps into the ring: OD of the area on the Nardi button that snaps into the ring... as you can see there is a small difference: There is a small lip around the top edge of the buttons. Here is the Momo OD on that lip: Here is the OD on the Nardi lip: The lip on the Nardi horn button is just wide enough to sit on top of the ring which hides all the screws (shown on the right)... With the Momo, its too small and the ring just falls off. Ill probably secure it somehow... Im not too worried about it. I was just cleaning up the living room and found the girlfriends hot glue gun. I may actually just glue the ring on. Its very secure, but since its metal on metal, I can peel them apart if I really need to with no damage being done. Overall the button was a success. I like it far more than the stock Nadi design. Someone needs to make blank Nardi/Momo buttons where you can insert your own designs with a cap on them so it looks factory.
  17. I already did... That's how I have it installed. That's not the issue. I'll snap some pictures in a few to demonstrate the issue.
  18. Thanks! I have one issue with it. Its a Momo button and not a Nardi button... not only are the diameters slightly off, but the shape is off too. The Nardi has a lip that helps secure the ring that covers the screw holes. The Momo doesnt have that lip. So now the ring just sits there and isnt secured. If I still had access to a lathe I could make a Nardi shaped Momo horn adapter. Ill figure something out. I like the button enough to figure it outl.
  19. "Idle Control Clamp." Keeps me from dying at stop lights haha.
  20. But its an actual race car :(
  21. Tiny update: I also bought quite a few things to update the thread and hopefully get the ride more enjoyable. Ill update that once parts start arriving in the mail. Bought some items from a few places... spent too much money  Probably will be the last few big purchases this year. Will do a bunch of clean-up over the Winter... with no garage, it might be hard, but Ill do my best to get her ready for Spring.
  22. You dont like Super Silhouette race cars?
  23. You need a truck that large to haul the fat southern bitches that are into those...
