  1. If that's at me they're not girl jeans. I haven't owned a pair in a long time. Those are Naked & Famous raw denim jeans. ;)
  2. Leno just did a video on one yesterday... everyone prepare for the price spike
  3. Find youre radiator. Follow the upper coolant hose towards your engine. Once you see where it connects, go down a few inches and you should see a single wire leading to a plug screwed into your thermostat housing. Then follow Laotsos post. I believe the wire is yellow or yellow white on trucks.
  4. Just as a point of reference, if youre not familiar with the basic necessities of whats needed for a turbo install, youre probably not ready for a turbo. More parts to install, more parts to fail, shit get pricey... You will want to do tons of research before attempting this. You wont get all your answers in this thread... there is a plethora of valuable info already present on sites out there. Just google NA to Turbo and read up.
  5. My bay photographs well, but still needs some work. I need to finish up the carb tomorrow, then wiring, then radiator, then CVs. Im hoping my radiator comes before the weekend so I can get that in quick. Since I have to disassemble to trans cooler lines for the new cooler, Ill probably do a fluid flush as well. I dont know when the last time it was done... I havent touched it in the 2+ years Ive had the car
  6. I thought that kit looked familiar. Maybe I should turbo Minty
  7. Super clean and the car wash. Ive been meaning to start a wire tuck, which will help and now that Im going to be looking for a new battery Ill relocate it. Should help out too. Super clean is good stuff though.
  8. I should have some stickers made...
  9. Out of the three provided, Id rock a Competition Parts shirt.
  10. Duh... we would just cruise it together.
  11. I just did that math... I could trade him 1800 medium Rat and Wrenches. It would only take 50yrds of material to make... we might have that in white. Or maybe that red, but would need 100yrds of that red since its a half roll. That would be a shit ton of weeding.
  12. They like to give me shit for having an auto... so they are hoping I do the swap so I can run EI
  13. Good thing my single points work great ^_^
  14. No. The girl came home and wanted dinner. If the weather holds up tomorrow, Ill finish it up then. Should be pretty simple now. Good to know! I have a single points dizzy. Its been pretty solid so far. I have a remote ignitor setup with box that Ive had for like 6mo now... just never wired it in.
  15. If Dave would take the difference in stickers I would do that  It would only be $9k worth of vinyl.
  16. I bet the new Weber without a choke will be better than my stock Hitachi with a choke.
  17. I was in the lead for price for a few hours... Oh well, I tried.
  18. Psh you didnt even know they were there when I asked you. I got the outside ones, but with no light, the smog stuff, and soot everywhere I could see those in the center. Ive never had to take off the manifold before so... All is well now. Rest should be quick. I have all the cables and linkage disconnected and ready for the Weber. I know Ill have to tap into the 12V ACC somewhere for the choke; whats everyones preferred spot?
  19. Seems there are two more shared bolts in the lower center. Should be a quick swap now...
  20. Well I think I know why (or at least partially why) Ive been having battery issues: Looks like I may need a new battery... guess I might as well buy a nice one and relocate it while Im at it. *sigh* Carb swap has commenced: Im having some trouble getting the intake manifold off. I have all four top nuts on the intake off and the two outer nuts which depress two large/thick washers onto both the intake and exhaust manifolds. Those washers dont seem to want to come off either... Am I missing something? I want to make sure there arent any bolts Ive forgotten before I try to mechanically agitate the manifold off. Are there bolts Im missing or is it 45yrs of gunk keeping it on?
  21. That looks great! If you get me some detailed pictures, I can make up some new vinyl for you.
  22. What type of wheel are you trying to run?
