Ive driven it before (not in the Datsun) no problem... I usually sleep well the night before, get on the road about 5am... pull off about 3pm and sleep for about 5hrs. and then make the rest of the journey the next day. I was going to try to talk my buddy into taking the scenic route by coming down the 5 and cutting onto the 101 through San Fran to cross the Golden Gate Bridge, then drive down the coast via the 101/1 and into LA. Although long, it would be a great cruise. In fact, if he doesnt want to go, I may do it myself.

Im hoping to go down... its right before I start school this year, and Im from SoCal originally so Im hoping to head down there for the show and stay about a week. I havent been home in about 4yrs so Im going to try to hit it up before Im stuck doing school again.

Yeah, you should take some steel wool to them... thats all I used. I had wheel cleaner with me for the dirt/brake dust, but it was shitty out so I didnt pull it out. It was like 10min per wheel with the wool. Edit: Dont forget to put those spacers on to give your struts some decent clearance.

Hmmm looks like I have the same issue... though my leak is not quite as bad. I should probably look into getting new seals and refilling it before the drive to Canby.

As it stands right now I will be available to noon to roll down. Work says I can leave early and since Im Parkland I just just jump up a few exists to the Tacoma Mall and meet up. Im assuming thats the easiest place for everyone?- I mean its right off the freeway. Are there any people that are looking to catch a ride down from the Seattle/Kitsap/Tacoma area? Ive got an empty seat and wouldnt mind taking someone down on the 8th.

Not sure the times youre driving, but theres some guys coming from the Seattle area that will be going down. Maybe you can meet up with us...
