  1. Theres an inside?I thought all this was in a field... whatever. Ive already bought tickets and made up my mind. Cant turn back now!
  2. It is when youre sitting in a picnic area outside... Ill bring my own food and chill in the camping area.
  3. Ok, well Ill just bring my own food then. Im all about supporting the show, but theyre getting enough money out of me already.
  4. Two things... Should I get tickets to the banquet? I planned on bringing my own food, but if its worth it, Ill eat at the banquet if thats where everyone will be. Also, is anyone doing a group vendor spot?
  5. Size. 391 and 393 are different sizes. It looks like one is for the drive shaft and one is for the half-shafts. If you look up those parts all models use the same u-joints so just going by model doesnt mean anything.
  6. Yeah, Im just going to pick up whatever ones measure the same as the u-joints in your spare set.
  7. Both part numbers listed above are listed to work on 240s, 521s, and 510s... so that alone is not the deciding factor on which to use.
  8. I dont know why I didnt think of that haha... completely spaced  Fine. We will just use yours tomorrow then
  9. Spotted the FF Eclipse again... was a little slow with the camera as I had a soda in my hand, but still snapped a picture:
  10. Yeah Im sure its 393s, but before I make another purchase Id like to measure them to make sure. Then I can just return the ones I already picked up... all that running around for nothing.
  11. Ive never had a single issue with Oreilys. In fact they have been the most pleasant and knowledgable employees out of all the local places. In fact today when I went in or u-joints the manager himself went way above and beyond to help me out with my u-joint purchase. Called a bunch of different stores, drew me maps to places, crazy friendly... YMMV.
  12. I obviously have no clue what the fuck Im doing in RockAuto so Ill just measure the u-joints in the set of half-shafts the Tyler has. Easy enough...
  13. This is what I was going to do. I just set my calipers out to make sure I take them with me in the morning.
  14. Napa seems to list 393, but Oreilys and RockAuto does not. I dont know what to think now. Napa is also the only place to list the u-joints as at the transmission, and side inner/outer...
  15. I checked RockAuto for both 69 and 71 and looked at Oreilys site with no year selected and just a complete listing of compatible cars.... no 510s at all. Edit: I just re-checked to make sure I wasnt talking out of my ass, and RockAuto has no 393s listed for 69/70/71 510s under Nissan>[YEAR]>510>1.6L L4>Drivetrain>Universal Joint
  16. I would recommend changing the title of your thread to reflect which car these parts are for so people do not have to click the thread. Also, where is Mc, Ia?- Iowa?
  17. I cant remember what radio you have in the truck, but the newer ones will always have a small drain. It keeps the time current as well as it remembers your presets for stations and such. If its an older manual push-button radio and not an electric switch-button then there should be no draw...
  18. So if you look at RockAuto there is no 393 listed anymore for 510s. I only see 391 as a U-joint option... Oreilys website confirms that as well. If you look up 393 on Oreilys site, it doesnt list 510 as compatible, but there are other Datsuns that are. With some people saying theyve been using 393s and both websites saying 510s only use 391s, Im not sure what to believe. Comparing the details on Oreilys site they are both greaseable. They are different sizes all together: 391 Lubricateable?: Yes Lube Fitting Location: Regular Lube Fitting In Bearing Bearing A Type: Round Grooved Bearing A Diameter: 0.985" (25.0mm) Length A**: 1.732" (44.0mm) Bearing B Type: Round Grooved Bearing B Diameter: 0.985" (25.0mm) Length B**: 1.732" (44.0mm) OE Series: Nissan & Subaru ------------------------------------------------ 393 Lubricateable?: Yes Lube Fitting Location: Regular Lube Fitting In Cross Bearing A Type: Round Grooved Bearing A Diameter: 1.103" (28.0mm) Length A**: 2.205" (56.0mm) Bearing B Type: Round Grooved Bearing B Diameter: 1.103" (28.0mm) Length B**: 2.205" (56.0mm) OE Series: Nissan & Subaru Hopefully I pickup the right ones. We shall see tomorow when I do my half-shafts. It would be nice if I could source an LSD locally and just do a CV conversion at the same time. Maybe that will be a Summertime project. I have some cash saved up, but not sure if LSD/CV is what I want to blow it on at this stage of the build.
  19. Does this have a title? Any frame damage?
  20. There was a big selling fiasco with this goon. I emailed them way after the fact (maybe last week), just to see what the status of this was and the owner said it was sold. Looks like it just hasnt been taken down.
